Are you planning on sticking around after the seminar for Karate-no-hi (October 25)? I think your audience would find coverage of that pretty interesting.
Hello, I have been practicing aikijutsu for 4 years, aikido for 7 years and started to train in shotokan karate since march this year. What I noticed is that Aikijutsu and Aikido at the base they rely on karate kihon waza elements. Maine reason was my lack of confidence in me. And it was a refuge from my troubled life.

Fun fact: The stunts/fight scenes featuring Mr. Miyagi was performed by the Famous Shito-ryu practitioner Demura Fumio Sensei. The actor Pat Morita who plays Mr. Miyagi never took any martial arts lessons. Cheers

Karate Kid 2 is my secret all time favorite movie ever. That seemed like the perfect evolution from part 1. Three? Well... I'd give a lot to know what the hell happened between Karate Kid 3 and Cobra Kai. Because somewhere in between Daniel became a fucking Master. I don't know. Maybe, storywise, Karate Kid 3 was the beginning of a different phase in Daniel's training. Daniel did some really crappy calls in this movie, the hothead that he is but I believe Miyagi was going to train Daniel further all along. "Now... will you train me?" "Hai. Now Miyagi train you." That was not about the tournament. That was about Miyagi being absolutely certian that Danielw as ready. There was a lot of tough love between these two.
If you want more power in the side kick, watch Joe Rogan and his side kick. I've never seen anybody kick a side kick with such power. It blows my mind whenever I watch him doing it. It's a scary kick.
