I’m just a regular mom with a son named Jayden Patrick who is autistic. He has also recently been diagnosed with childhood apraxia of speech. Regular speech therapists have not been successful in 3 years. Since finding PROMPT speech therapy he is starting to learn words and sounds. Jayden Patrick was born in May, 2018. As of April 2023 he remains mostly non speaking but is starting to say some words with the help of PROMPT therapy. On Christmas 2022 he gave me the greatest gift of all…calling me mama. He’s bright and loves letters, shapes, numbers, and colors. He is starting to write and spell and read. He loves music, particularly action songs like Wheels on the Bus. He loves to videotape himself so much of the videos are just of him taping himself. He loves watching himself and you will too.
