I remember another mod (corruption story) where the game start with "I have nothing to tell you" Well, I guess we got the right to have a sequel (prequel?) here Edit: 28:38 I love the animation of King that looks like to fall when going upstairs lol
Take note, Nintendo (with the official GBC remake of the original Super Mario Bros, and yes, it's been a quarter of a century), THIS is how you make Super Mario Bros. Deluxe! I mean, yeah, maybe it's not one of the all-time greatest hacks (I mean, then again, what could you do back then?) because while Super Mario All-Stars has fantastic music, that's the only type of custom music before 2006-ish when Super Mario Infinity: Mystery of the Magic Wand showed what Super Mario World Central could do with custom music beyond SMAS, but outside of this little nitpick (another one of them being that you skipped the Hammer Battle but why?), this is definitely the best Super Mario World hack of its time in the early-mid 2000s by just simply being a fun game with the SMB3-style graphics, the music, how it recreates the original SMB stages (and the new stages/worlds as well) and inspiration for Luigi's Adventure OSE (which yes, Anikiti worked on both games), plus while the official sequel made by the same creator which is just about as worthwhile depending on your taste for The Lost Levels (mainly the SNES version since that's what it's made to feel most like as it's on the same console except you only play as Luigi), the threequel would have to unofficially be one the best Super Mario Bros. 3 hacks to the point where it might even rival the original SMB3 (Super Mario Bros. 3Mix).
While playing with the Earthbound section in Mysterious Meat, Mr Dink reminded me a lot of Dr Andonuts When he went msd I said "now's when MEGALOVANIA starts playing" as a joke and the surprise I got when it actually played
