I've tried to follow along with a few other tutorials for this stitch but never seemed to be able to get it right. Your tutorial is very easy to understand and I can't wait to give it another shot. Thank you!
Thank you for this beautiful blanket.I have just found your channel, Will be making it right now for great grandson Christening. Many thanks from North West England UK. 🙏🏾❤️. Have subscribed..
I was looking for a better way an easy way to make the waffle stitch an I come across yr video an I like it u explain it so that I'm going to try it thanks so much
I think the issue is if the picture being displayed for your thumbnail isnt your work, you should still make sure it is displaying the right stitch. The blankets in the thumbnail are a different stitch than what you are doing. I would suggest next time to use a picture of your finished work for the thumbnail. Just a suggestion or food for thought. ❤ 😊 otherwise you did a good job with the video and instructions.
The pictures of the completed projects are the "Granny Spiked My Ripple Stitch" whereas the tutorial is the "Granny Ripple Stitch". Very similar but with one stitch difference.
I assure you i made both of those blankets in the picture. The red one for my mom and blue one for my grandmother for mothers day a few years ago. The one for my mom she actually buried with her dog that passed away rescently.
How did you finish the blanket? Did you add a border? I have so many ends to weave in and I'm wondering if it would be better to add a border. Gorgeous pattern by the way. Love it and sooooo easy to work up.
You don’t tell us what to do at the end of row 2 and the turn going into row 3. Do I do another cluster of 3 and then chain 5 and then do another cluster of 3 into that chain I just made? I think this would have the effect of making a giant triangle and not end up with a rectangle. Also, there is no way that the thumbnail was made using this stitch, the spikes in the afghans in the thumbnails are not going to happen with this stitch, it just makes no sense at all. You had a good start to this tutorial, but failing to provide more of the rows and to show what it actually creates means that it only ends up with a frustrating mess for anyone who tries to follow this.
I see what you're saying, I just kept following along the lines of what this video showed and noticed my end were going more towards a triangle lol, I thought I was doing something wrong 😅 undid my work 2x before I realized it wasn't necessarily me lost in translation lol Overall tho, It was slow, clear to understand, instructions...just needed more I think 🤗
I don’t get it 😭 your explanation is very clear but idk how you get from the begining triangle to the end big triangle ! (Sorry for my bad english, i’m french 😅)
