If I can I hink I will make this but use the painting method that sean's craft used to know the best spray-colours to properly paint the ironman mask,also you can harden the mask with raisin but if you prefer to 3D print the mask it's ok to do so,dont be afraid to mix his ideas with yours as you can use different hardening methods but again,just use your available resources and if you want you can 3D print this or harden the mask with raisin instead of soda cans
What you need is a hole in the chassis and a hole in the blade in a 90° locking mechanism on both of them that expand out. That will at least lock the blade and allow it to be functional. Literally just carving out a section of wood and then bending it down so that it's forced to catch the hole of the next part that moves forward. On this design you would need two locking mechanisms but then you also need a way to disengage them you do get a really nice blade though.
You know, maybe something like the vintage dr octopus would work, he uses a box in his chest with four levers to control the tentacles, so, if we take that for example, you could buy a whole thing to control in your chest.
I researched a lot of DIY mechanisms, and you have by far the most elegant solution with the rails + locking mechanism with the thick nail. Excellent creativity. I had to pause and go back and forth a bunch of times to understand how the shelving corners work with the sliders, the nail dowel and the 2-part legs. It would be really cool if you could diagram it for future viewers. Great job! The actual build itself is a little improvised with reclaimed parts and bad tools, but the genius of the solution outshines it
I needed an adjustable height desk which is costly. I have the same idea for building my table. The locking system is great ❤. Now the problem is I can't adjust the height with the power of my arms. So what will be the best solution.😅
