This unseals the laminate. If moisture is present it will destroy the paper. I'm thinking about creating a larger hole first then laminate, and punch out with laminate still intact around the border of the hole.

Is there a benefit to doing it like this versus just doing 2 separate, shorter cables and 2 pulleys rather than 1 long cable and 3 pulleys?
@shadow_wolfrie8597

Ok so im trying to figure out if its safe to hole punch my laminated papers, they already were regular 3-hole papers but idk if by re opening the holes itd ruin the lamination i need to put them in a binder though. Any tips or anything to help at all? I tried doing some research on it and couldn't find anything myself

very cool, but why do you need the third pulley in the middle? can't you just run the cable thru the low pulley of the rack?

Wouldn’t say the resistance changes but don’t expect it is as smooth as commercial machines however with the cost of it it is 100% worthy.

I did something pretty similar to this but I run into the problem that when you hit a certain height the angle on the back pulley becomes too obtuse to be able to apply forward force anymore and you max out way before the height of the weight rail. Can't really see a way around that which is a bit of a limitation of the system. Cheers for the idea, definitely gives me a few new options for exercises and for only about 50 bucks.

Any tips for the install on the fireman's pole? The instructions have you just place the bottom of the pole on the ground when you screw the beam into the frame, but the next step says to bury the bottom of the pole a few inches into the ground. I'm thinking I need to take the beam back off and drive the pole into the ground, and then reattach, but I'm afraid that the new screw holes will be too close to the old and it won't be sturdy.
@getthingsbuilt1342
@getthingsbuilt1342 2 года назад
Mine came with a metal plate with two U-type anchors that will secure the fireman pole in place. The fireman pole might warble a little bit but it won’t go anywhere. I didn’t bury the pole into ground.
