So I saw the $200+ armrest mounted height adjustment kit from grasshopper on amazon, but what I really would like to do is mount a remote switch right out on the left steering handle so I can adjust as I'm driving. Is there anything that does that?
It’s not just the diff lock that provides the needed traction it is also the fact the GiANT provides power to the front and rear tires at the same time. That’s huge.
@placidbeach Now we know. I'm not entirely sure what the purpose of this springy thing is. I believe it somehow increases traction on the drive wheels.
For a month or so I have owned a used 1cxt.i did not want to buy a new one for fear that something so different would be not a good loader not a good backhoe. For me this is a little of a learning curve.however it is nice to have a single trans portable unit that can serve both functions. I can go out alone in one trip and dig, load, backfill and move to next job. By no means is it a mass earth mover. But ,like a mini ex it is mostly intuitive and makes me smile when using it!
Working on a Grasshopper 618 and is different. Need to take deck off to remove drive shaft to replace the stator. This is a customer mower and can’t figure it out. Can you help me please?
I don't have a power actuator on my 9772 (6') deck and my jack is different. Not to simple the way I see it never had my deck totally off yet but guess I'll figure it out some day. The manual tells you nothing but thanx for the great video just didn't apply to my 9772 deck.
