I continue to hike/climb the spectacular mountains in Washington State in memory of my beloved wife Heidi, who lost her cancer battle on September 24, 2012. Together she and I hiked and danced and worshipped God on hundreds of hiking trails up until her last 6 weeks of life. Heidi and I were both diagnosed with cancer within 3 months of each other. I now battle my own two cancers without her, finding faith and strength in God as we once did together. I believe the outdoor adventures are helping me stay in remission. I miss and love you Heidi!

Thank you for asking Jerry! Yes, my reforesting of my acreage has stolen hiking time, especially this summer - over 1000 trees & shrubs planted! I’ll be uploading a video next Spring showcasing that. But starting next week I hope to be back out there hiking & doing hike videos.

Wonderful way to celebrate, especially remembering those whose lives are in much turmoil. You honor them. What a beautiful setting. We were just up to the Sol Duc River on Saturday - another spot filled with early spring flowers and filtered daylight.
