I'm Alex with Search Friendly. My goal is to empower you to attract customers from search engines through helpful tips and tricks, best practices and course-style videos.

I built and optimized my first website in 2002. In 2006 I joined @CriticalMassAgency as a Media Coordinator, met amazing people and learned lots about email marketing, web analytics, paid search and SEO.

Since 2010 I freelance working with some amazing SaaS brands like @MiroHQ and agencies like McCann Canada.

Since 2014 I'm focusing on search engine marketing. I help businesses attract customers from search engines through paid search (Google Ads), local search (Google Business Profile, etc.) and organic search (technical SEO and content strategies).

I audit and optimize websites full-time. I also teach at online schools like Jelly Academy as well as coach/mentor individual entrepreneurs. Book a free 15-minute discovery call to see if I can help you attract customers from search engines.

Thank you, may I ask you a question? We have 4 different locations A, B, C, D, all listed on Google Maps. When doing citations on various citation websites, do I need to list each location with its specific name, such as A (Address 1), B (Address 2), etc.? Or should I add all locations in one listing?

Thanks, Jay! A citation is a mention of your business Name, Address and Phone # (NAP) on external sites (citation sources). A NAP is specific to a single location. So, each of your locations needs to have its own citations. LMK if there's anything else.

So what do I do with these, how do I track using the url's? I have my spreadsheet created, I've sent out my campaigns, now how do I track anything with this?

Lacey, thank you for your comment. You should be able to see the results in your analytics reports. If you use Google Analytics (Universal), the clicks on your campaign links will be reported here: Acquisition > Campaigns > All Campaigns. If you're using GA4, your campaign clicks should be visible here: Life Cycle > Acquisition > Acquisition Overview.
