It was unclear who shot first? That's a ridiculous statement. The first shots were fired at the unarmed tow truck driver who wore a uniform similar to the local police. This was an ambush aimed at the police, who the militants considered an oppressive force. The bitch of it was, two of the three officers killed were known for having good relationships with the people of the Glenville neighborhood. The federal report likened the shootings to an armed insurrection, but that gave it too much credit. Inserrections have plans, strategies, and goals. This was spontaneous violence that led nowhere. Three policemen killed, three and possibly more militants killed, and scores of people on both sides wounded, some maimed for life, and for what? Nothing was accomplished, except the development of a SWAT Team for the City of Cleveland! Life didn't improve in Glenville. If anything, it became worse in the immediate aftermath of the shootings! It all meant nothing... Except to the family members of those who were killed and wounded on both sides of this senseless slaughter.
That's your opinion. It meant something to me and many others who actually lived in Glenville. Our lives were improved because of the sacrifices of the black men such as Fred Ahmed Evans and others who fought for their neighborhoods.
Thanks for your work with children and the example. I linked to this as an example in the Ch7 section on "digital publishing, storytelling and bookmaking" in the 8th edition of the text "Integrating Educational Technology in Teaching" - www.pearson.com/us/higher-education/program/Roblyer-Integrating-Educational-Technology-into-Teaching-Transforming-Learning-Across-Disciplines-with-REVEL-Access-Card-Package-8th-Edition/PGM1762899.html
It's asinine to say that Allah God doesn't control everything, when he's the one that formed the Gates, Buffet, Winfrey, Zuckerberg in their Mothers' wombs, the raw materials that form these new products that you see were created by Allah, so to say Allah God doesn't control everything is preposterous!
Hello Garth, excellent video! I’m using it to get to know more about Pear-deck, hopefully, to use in my classes. Would it be possible for me to use it to run a video and to keep stopping the video at various stages to ask a question to assess student/class understanding? In effect to get Peardeck to work a little like Edpuzzle. Best Rick
Yes, you could do that as a HACK. It is not made to run the youtube and stop it with questions, but you could make it work. Let me know how it works for you.
