All about giving it ago and saving a few quid on labour chargers motorcycle and cars and vans. If you need help please drop a comment in one off the videos and i try and get back to you asap and try my best to help.
Thanks for this. I’ve been ploughing through it today. Got all the manifold nuts then decided to finish for the day and shut the bonnet with the cable disconnected. 😢
Would you happen to know if the oil filter housing gasket is located in the same place on mini one r56 1.4 N12B14A? I will be changing my catalytic converter, and this is the only video that's been helpful so far. Thought my as well change these if they're exposed in the process
If you've got an egr error code, you'll probably need to pull off the egr pipe work and inlet manifold and clean all the carbon build up out using oven cleaner. Replacing/cleaning the egr valve might solve your problem but a gunked up egr valve usually means blocked/gunked up egr pipework and inlet manifold.
Just watched how you stripped down the Renault Master for Radiator Replacement. Thanks for sharing your knowledge Jay, I now feel confident I can do the same job on my campervan which has just sprung a leak! Nice work, looking forward to watching more of your videos! 😎👍🛠

Hoping you can help. Have some vG20A carbs which are seized solid so replaced them with vg26vb carbs but can't figure out where the fuel lines run. Have the 2 off the 1&2 and 3&4 'fronts' which run into a T piece (can be seen at 15 mins in video) but there is a separate big fat fuel pipe running to the back of the carbs. Does this connect to the same fuel line from the fuel pump? Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks
Hiya I saw you had some videos on a Matiz and I've got and issue where the abs light and the handbreak warning light won't go off. Me and my dad have chnaged the front abs sensors and the abs control unit (though that was a while ago now) but we've looked at everything we can think of but just cant seem to figure it out. Was just wondering what else might be worth looking at for either of them as we've got the MOT and at the moment it is likely to fail. Any help is very much appreciated as we are fully stuck. 😅
Ayup mate, messaged you on here a few times, did you sell this in the end? Trying to buy some bits of a guy on FB, he's using pics of this bike? Cheers
Cool swap. Whats the driving like? I have a 2005 Master and the steering feels very sensitive / fast. A smaller wheel would make it feel a little heavier ( no bad thing - its far from heavy) but im wondering if it'd make it even more sensitive / fast?
Hi! Had the cables replaced by a workshop (came in with a complete new engine btw..😂) and now the shifting is a bit “off” - I get 3rd gear instead of 5th, 2nd instead of 4th etc. Feels like the gear selector is a bit too much to the left or whatever. Do you think that’s what I can adjust with the orange clip? Would be great cause this really sucks 😂
Good easy mod, but how will you blank off the old one, assuming you don’t decide to start using the steering lock after 30 years 😂 I never give it a thought either tbh. I’m not a fan of the side mounted barrels really, always worried the key will fall out, but that’s the dangers of old bikes, new barrel should be ok for a few years anyway.
Where is a safe place to jack specifically a 535? No frame rails and a raised seam down the centre of the engine... does the whole bike rest on the thin engine casings? Theres no flat area underneath at all on a 535. The safest place seems to be up by the coil housing under the petrol tank but needs long rods to bolt into he frame and down to the jack....
Any tips on changing timming belt on this engine,my small belt to the diesel pump has snaped,a cant see any way to lock it up or any timming marks ,any tips welcome ?
No WD40 on the brake adjuster ? The handbrake cable looks too short it needs adjusting. Why not put new bearings in the new brake drums ? They don't cost much, and it won't last long like that. You can buy drums with bearings fitted TRW. Put grease on back plate where the shoes rub against for non binding operation.
Have you checked to make sure all plugs are in properly and not trapped and wires.and when reading fault it is saying steering wheel airbag.. if all fails try a resistor
