Even if you have impeccable aim if your stroke isn't there yet then you'll still miss sure you can make balls but the stroke is the most important thing in pool
Adam, I went through your social media to get a part of your life story and I was sobbing the entire time. Not only of how absolutely inspirational your story and dedication is, but how positive you're as well. To turn a seeming tragedy into absolute life changing experience and bring joy to the internet with your work for thousands of people too see, is magical. Best of luck of continuing to do, what you do. You're truly making history!
Thank you very much for your wonderful words. For me it is very important that I can inspire people with my story. A lot of people don't know me and my story. For some people, I'm just an ordinary guy who makes videos on YT, but the truth is bit different. What I do is great fun for me and I'm glad that people like it :)
You’re so true! Without good stance, I kept missed straight shot whenever I try to hit Thanks for your explanation that solve my problem so far Subscribed😎
Thank you Adam, another great lesson. I have a question. On a short shot, where the cue ball and object ball are closer together, I tend to concentrate on the object ball when I take the shot. But, I've noticed that on a longer shot I have to concentrate more on the cue ball. I was missing longer shots because I think I was putting unintended high, low, right or left spin on the cue ball. I have found that focusing on where my cue tip hits the cue ball helped. Is this a me problem, just bad technique on my part?
Thank you so much for your comment. Very important is to step into the shot along the shooting line and align your head in correct position (dominant eye). Im my previous video I mentioned how to determine this aspect. But at this point it is very difficult to say what is the biggest reason of your problem. If I saw you during the shot, I could say more. When I am redy to execute the shot then I always try to focus on my shaft position and this helps me to hit the cue ball at intended point. But I think that you need to check your eye alignment because this may be a problem. I hope it was helpful for you!
The most unusual thing about Efren is his understanding of angles. It's like he was born with a sight of seeing where the ball goes and bounces. No other player made so many unbelievable otherwordly shots like him.
2-3 refs seem to be behind all of this controversy, Marcel pretentious looking ass and those older 2 guys. I think the very very old guy who refs DCC in the most videos here must have been forced to retire. He's too slow and old to be reffing now.
@5:58 where is this newbie first-time commentator from? Earl been snapping cues since the 70's. They even talked about it in his 83 match against Mizerak how he snapped at LEAST one cue that tournament. Of Course Earl cleaned the house poor Mizerak couldn't even really shoot #AirStrickland
While obvious it should note that height changes your stance. A 6 footer will need to have a wide stance in order to get down on the cue ball correctly.
I've always thought Jason Shaw was a little bit of a crybaby b****.. if I was playing and he would have thrown balls off the table like that during my shot he'd be counting his teeth
Don’t put shit on the screen to read at the same time something is happening we’re supposed to be looking at. Especially silly nonsense we don’t need to read in the first place. Annoying.
There are always many ways to express your dissatisfaction with a video you have seen, and I respect that. However, I will never tolerate the way and language you use. For me this is unacceptable and if you don't like something about this video, turn it off and move on. Super simple method. Annoying is your comment. Reported!
Do you know how to create perfect stance at the table?! In this video I am going to explain 6 very useful tips and techniques you should consider if you want to create perfect stance at the table.😎 Thank you for deciding to watch my video and if you want to support my work, consider leaving a thumbs up under the video and hitting the subscribe button because I make a new video every week and it's worth keeping up to date with all new publications on my channel🙏
So I know quite well where my center of vision (CoV) is. I use a tool called sight right to find my CoV. I’m also 79 years old, and have extreme presbyopia where my right eye requires 2.0+ and my left eye requires 1.0 lenses. I have monofocal lenses that give me pretty good vision though. Given that I need to discuss my issue. I have a drill I recently tried to increase my consistency. I have an object ball 1/2 diamond off the rail one diamond from the corner pocket with cue ball also 1/2 diamond off the rail at the middle diamond. I have the same set up at the other end of the table. We’ll call the shot with the inside English on the left the left cut and the right hand inside English the right cut. I am having terrible consistency problems where I’ll make six or seven shots in row and then miss an easy shot, I’ll make a few long shots then miss an easy shot, and I’ll make several spot shots and then miss by quite a margin. This is where the above drill comes in handy. When I shoot the left hand cut shot I make it over 95 % of the time. When I shoot the right hand cut shot I miss over 50% of the time. I’ve realized doing this that my inconsistency is caused by my brain, not my eyesight. Obviously my presbyopia correction glasses must play some part of this, but I’m telling you that when I get down on the shot my brain tells me one thing, but the results tell me quite a different thing. I’ve shot over a thousand shots on this drill, and my brain still tells me when I stand over the shot that I’m over cutting it, but that goes into the pocket. Now that I know my right eye has affected my CoV thinking I have to consider it on every right cut shot. I’m still as inconsistent as when I started this. Straight in shots work just fine though. Fifty years ago I quite the hotshot, but now here in the Philippines I just barely get a passing grade…lol
I like your content especially how you show the trace. It helps me to visualize shots that I may have taken a diffrent shot as there may be a ball in that I couldn't risk moving. Knowing I can curve some shots and get the position I want is a big asset to playing better.
the foul at 4:28 is no joke. The man who taught me pool, way back in the early 1980's, told me how he lost his match against Willie Mosconi at the World Championships back in the 40'swhen his tie came loose from the clip and touched the ball. Mosconi ran the table and won. He said it was as close as he ever got to beating arguably the GOAT of straight pool.
