hey! great question. I think there is a bus connection still working. The many times I went there I always drove, but I think there is a bus connection being operated. However, please don't expect more than a couple of routes a day (one in the morning and one in the afternoon). Castelo Branco is an excellent city to live in. Hope you adapt well.
Just bought my first down jacket. When I search for how to handle it, many online sources say not to fold. That the feathers inside become messed up. Are they just overcautious? Seems like folding is the best way to transport. Looking to hit the slopes next month.
I never felt that my jacket lost any of its consistency, however, I use a cheap jacket for travelling, so never cared much about it. But honestly, never felt the jacket lose any quality. Do share how it went!
actually, it doesn't wrinkle a lot. it really depends on the fabric. if you don't overpack clothes will not be pressured against each other so it reduces wrinkles. try it out and see what you think.
the trick is to spare more fabric in the fold at the bottom. The bulkier the item, the more fabric you need. In despair, you can always use a rubber band :)
