I always liked The Phantom of The Opera. But seeing it with Gerard Butler and Emmy Rossum oh my gosh. I Loved every minute of it and cry they were all amazing. So intriguing, mysterious, intense romance. I'll never be the same. 😌😔❤
Strange thing I picked up on. Very early 2000s news that even though they talk about his talents, they keep coming back to how handsome he is. Its that subtle objectification of celebrities that we sometimes miss
I‘m impressed. I’m not from France but you have to learn french in Switzerland and I’m not good, but I understood a little bit. But not really. He probably never had any lessons in french and he can speak. I could never do this.
I rewatched the movie recently and I have so many thoughts on it. He (the phantom) was so abused and heart broken that everything was so triggering to him. He went in his relationship with Christine expecting failure because of his face and he snapped everytime she got close to him but in reality his deformity was not really involved in the choice she had to make- to leave him and go with Raoul. In the end you realise that his internal deformity was what kept her with Raoul. She felt abused by the phantom. He only wanted a way to get close to her but he didn’t know how to handle the intimacy and this is really heart breaking. He became a murderer to protect himself from the world- he killed two people that he felt would eventually discover him. His relationship with Christine and the fear of losing the best thing that ever happened to him made him a murderer and eventually that aggressive nature made her abandon him . I fully believe that she was his soulmate and had he kept calm she would in fact end up with him instead of Raoul but Raoul was her safety and The phantom was just an idea she was infatuated with by the end.
Erik is naturally sexy and sad (sympathetic) the same time, Gerard was perfect 😂😂 i can forgive the stupid deformity because of his acting, his voice and the rest of this magnificent movie. Definetely my favorite movie of all time, following by The Ring (2002).
This will always be a hit because all the other Phantoms are ugly besides Ramin. Gerard was more desirable. Some of the Phantoms were so ugly. Who could possibly be drawn to them.
He made me cry tears of anger, such a good acting I was blinded. Usually I don't want to take sides on movies and make like deep analysis about them but it's specially hard not to be by The Phantom's side in this one. He was creepy but I don't think Christine was right in betraying him so harshly and rip out his mask in front of everyone and all... They could've talked about this... Maybe that's why it's so sad
Gerard you made the phantom beyond sexy if that is even possible have no doubt you made millions of women fall in love with you instantly. He is one gorgeous sexy phantom alright !!!!)🌹🎶🎵You don't have to make the phantom sexy you already have without even trying what a man what a mighty fine man !!!!!
Come with me my angel of the music, Erik!! ❤ Sing for me! Say my name!! SING FOR MEEEEEE ERIK!!! HE'S MY PHANTOM OF THE OPERA ❤ RAOUL IS PURE SH1T 👎👎💩💩💩
I feel awkward, really, I feel ashamed for that reporters, I mean, how can you be that stupid? I wouldn't surprised if Gerard got furious, cause I'm angry watching this
