At Mt. Zion we are excited about what God has in store for us and we invite you to come walk with us as we follow Christ. We believe that God is calling us to make a difference and we will, because we are the Body of Christ. We are here to serve, to lift up, to encourage, and, most of all, to love all of God's children. We know God is blessing others through us. Won't you join us as we read and study the Bible, worship, fellowship, and pray together? Don't miss the exciting journey, wherever God may be leading us!
R.I.P KATIE i don't know you but all my prayers goes to your family, And sad thing to find out that you're just ten days older than me. May your soul rest in heaven😇
Neostoicism is very important and Justus Lipsius adds a depth that is needed. Stoicism is popular and Neostoicism adds a depth - there were many connections between the Stoics and early Christians. The teachings of Musonius Rufus share many similarities to Christian teachings. Christianity is in a strange place at present an its appeal continues to fall in the West.
A sad loss to her family. Katie's uncle gave a fine eulogy to her. Discussing her pain and what caused her early death. From her words I can tell she was struggling with this life. The people in it. Betrayal at a young age will do that. And to use drugs as self medication. Rest in peace Katie. I never met you in my life but I understand the pain you went through. This life is pain. For some so much. And the Preacher gave a fine sermon. He I believe is a man of God and faith.
As the mother to an ever recovering drug addict my oldest daughter has been on that rollercoaster for 25 years I have no idea how she is still with us the horrors she has put herself and family through 😢 some to painful and negative to speak of however she is still standing where many are not 😢 a few days ago we were able to wish her a happy 40th birthday and that is something I never believed would happen I can only hope and pray 🙏 she keeps trying to stay at the top of that roller coaster.
