Amazing night! As a former foster youth I was so honored to give back by hosting. I do a lot of shows as a comedian, but none has ever been as rewarding.
If anyone gets a chance, watch this documentary please do it. This is an amazing lady as is her family. I had a real appreciation of who she is after watching this great documentary produced by her son and Sheila Nevins.

This was a beautiful video and song. It makes me feel good to see a African American woman with some culture who can sing in other languages. You have so much talent.
I had the honor and privilege to work with Sylvia Fogelman 18 years ago, not long after she began the amazing organization Southern California Foster Family and Adoption Agency. Her impassioned dedication to providing permanent living and educational solutions for the foster and adoptive youth of Los Angeles made her then and now one of my heroes. There are 100's of foster and adoptive parents and children who would say the same. Being guided by integrity, moral conviction, and an ethic to make the world a better place than she found it, Sylvia championed the cause for so many that are marginalized and overlooked -- and she helped realize the dream of 'belonging' to countless children and adults. The most beautiful thing is that her impact will be realized for generations to come. Her decision to merge in the creation of ExtraordinaryFamilies is a testament to her vision and wisdom for the work beyond herself and this temporal life. Matt is an incredible performer: musician, singer and dancer. His shows are electric and everyone has a fun time dancing the night away. He is smart, witty and adds class to his performances. He can play anything from classic rock from the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's to Frank Sinatra etc... he is so talented. Hire him - you won't be disappointed.
