This is how 21st century traditional media is. Movies have been pushing the ideals of "strong women" since Star Wars introduced Rey Skywalker. Don't get me wrong, it is not wrong to portray strong women but it is only fair that men (or any other character) also get the same kind of portrayal because thats whats called a good narrative but this is not what we see anymore. A good narrative, as thought by PR teams and "woke" ppl nowadays is where the media have minorities (whether race, gender, etc) to have power while any other ppl that are not minorities have their power diminished. Super hero movies recently have been the victim of this where they try to push power of women too much and thus diminishing the power of men. Obviously, Mr beast is a business now and i doubt he can control much of which groups win because which groups win are just determined by how much PR he gets. Kinda like reality TV shows but instead of scripted drama; its scripted outcome. and yes, the girls are all survival trained and have been in TV survival shows which makes Mr beast challenge a walk in a park while the boys have no experience.

i had a similar convo with my buddy on saturday. especially in these days of AI. nothing can be trusted. also dead internet theory and 1984? even the videos i watch. im always skeptic of what is being said. faith does help though.
