Thanks for the news, that's definitely good to learn! I regretted a bit not really commenting much back when you would stream/upload runs yourself, figured the least I could do was wish you well! ❤
Same here, when i saw The flurry of kicks on The trailer i yelled out "that's from web of shadows from DS!", Dunno if it was intentional...but it was cool as f*ck
This was unreal. Holy smokes, just out of the gate pedal to the metal. So fun to watch; almost hard to keep up with lol. You are the SpyHunter, for sure.
It's a fine place to ask. I just wish I could help.. I haven't played the game in years, and actually didn't even know there were cheat codes while I did play. Sorry!
@@Lightdasher360 I feel the same too! We sure had several good times years back mate! Also yeah lol I guess I should've picked a different sentence to say for a cool approach hehe
@@Clipbrick_CB No worries at all, I'd actually really like to get back into making videos if I could ever find the time. I hope you've been doing well. I'm only still in contact with a small few of the people that we used to come across in the Sonic community. But it's always really nice to see when they've been well.
was always kind of unpredictable what attack they would use. id get hp looking like 14:55 and think i could finish it but then they would use a beam attack or something and either beat me, bring me down to 1 hp or near it or on the rare occasion they would have just enough and a card in their hand to do something that pretty much wins it
Yeah, no kidding! I would always get nervous at the final stretch because of that. Not to mention battles being so long before the days of emulators, so having to start over really sucked.
Just thought I'd let you guys know, there's 2 endings on the DS version of WOS. Just team up with green goblin all the way and you'll get the evil ending.
Thanks for the trivia! It's actually been so long since I played this. I remember having more of a blast with Shattered Dimensions, but it'd probably be fun to revisit this too.
see this is what we need at agdq >=0 I love speedruns, but I hate when they skip all the cool parts!!!! I really wish the community would take this seriously and implement some kinda points system for the whole game, things like 30 points for completing an objective, 10 for destroying an enemy, X for drifting, etc etc.....would be so damn cool to watch. Anyways, awesome job!!!!! I love this game <3 U rock dude!!!!
Thanks a bunch! This game is awesome and I hope in the future someone is able to create a fantastic modern remake. The main difference between this and most speedruns is that I wasn't really trying to go as fast as possible, I just don't like going slow, lol. I think your idea is pretty cool for a points run, but I can see why speedrunners play the way they do. Funnily enough, despite my intention, this could probably be taken as the world record speedrun for this game. I haven't been able to find any playthroughs of someone going faster, and no one's even made videos for the game on speedrun.com.
I can’t believe I played DMC with my mom when I was like 5 yrs old or younger. Now I’m almost 22. There’s a billion things I could say, but I’ll just leave it at: this is one of my favorite games of all time.
“Devil Never Cry, ok we’ll be there. This one has the password, sounds heavy.” “Ok let’s get this over with in 10 minutes, can’t let a single one of those suckers live.” “5 minutes.” “Ha, more than enough.”
As a manly boy who played this game so much on my emulated tablet, And have so much difficulty trying to kill the final symbiote and trying to come up with so many combos. This is sick
Well dang! I remember doing these combos in the emulated psp version too! I remember playing the game when I was like 12 but even on the Hero (hardest/hard difficulty) it was still too easy Buuuuuut, I guess it helps with accessibility I suppose. Love the vid
Thanks! I never played much at all of the PSP version, I should probably revisit it if given the chance because I always like finding games I enjoy with combo systems like these.
@@Lightdasher360 aw man! You should! Well... The only reason I could of playing the psp version is that it's smoother but it's understandable if you still can't tho
I think DMC would work pretty well as a fighter, too bad they don't have one. I'd like to hear a remix of this as the character select or credits theme.
@@Lightdasher360 late reply but im sure they have dante as a character in one of the Marvel vs capcoms I think it was 3 or 4 maybe I cant remember off top of my head
@@roythegracious No worries! Yup, he's playable in the 3rd and 4th MvC games. I was wishing DMC had its own fighter, but I guess that would be redundant.
Sounds like a good idea. There was a Spy Hunter game made for PS Vita a while back, which sounds like a dream for me. But it was very annoying and didn't look nearly as fun as this or even the arcade game. I think most Spy Hunter games failed because they tried too hard, even the sequel to this game. I like that this game is simple. Better graphics, added challenges, and a nicely updated car would be enough for me.
That's normal. If you use the Cyan Laser and don't hit any of the crystals, you'll keep flying until you bounce off a solid object or the wisp times out.
@@multiplesonic872 You don't have to. I appreciate the thought, but I don't upload very often and it's been a while since I've made a Sonic video. Just a heads up.
Sorry for the late reply, and thanks for commenting! I remember doing the same myself for Shattered Dimensions and Edge of Time both, I think they're underrated in that you wouldn't expect combat this good from a Spidey game but it's definitely there. Especially with handheld games like this happening less from big companies, I can't see it really happening again.. But I'd really like more of these if possible.
