Just check out the Japanese scene for more female metal, so many awesome bands, they rule and will take over the world (I hope). And if you want even more brutal you have Gallhammer ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6balaHGQg38.html, all female Black Metal band, if you want more technical progressive metal check out KOIAI ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rX6SP5bQZH8.html
I agree with your take on female in metal scene and in my next release, I will discuss about NEMOPHILA's 2 award winning musicians, the Smiling Drum Goddess, Tamu and Metal Guitar Goddess, SAKI (although SAKI left the band but it doesn't matter to the topic). Snippets of the transcripts: Almost in every part of the world, female artists are constantly subjected to judgement of their looks or lack there off for that matter. Female rock artists are also exposed to prejudice against their male counterparts. During an interview with Kevy Metal in 2020, SAKI of NEMOPHILA acknowledge remarks that a couple years prior, when all-female metal bands were still a small hype in Japan, allegedly, female band ALDIOUS during their early days often faced remarks that their popularity was mainly due to how they looked and couldn’t really play the instruments (which is not true!) It was not strange in those days since ALDIOUS was formed before 2010, the year that marked the new wave of All-Female Rock Band in Japan that continue to grow until it reached the maturity stage by the end of the decade. The remark mentioned by SAKI was not an isolated incident and it not only showed some forms of judgement and prejudice against female rock artists, but also another challenge that all-female Japanese rock bands need to overcome - the stereotyping. In the west, all-female rock bands already became a trend during the psychedelic rock era around the mid 60s with the birth of so-called garage bands, where many teenagers started to form a band, for example the Ace of Cups. Unfortunately, they didn't get much attention in the rock music history and often they were seen or labelled as gimmicky or exploitative acts. Of course, some of the female rock bands that time just went with the trend and didn't actually have a real desire to be rock musicians, but that was also true for some male rock bands. However, only female rock bands were labelled with negativity. ...coming soon 🤘🏻
The text messages she was reading in the bar were from her parents asking her how she was doing since they hadn't heard from her in a while. She complains about her boss, and they tell her to just say, "Pardon me, I have to go now" the next time. I don't think her parents meant grab him by the collar and scream it in his face, tho!😂 "Tousou (Run Away) " next, which is loosely part 2 to this one. And yes, two singers. Yukina does growls and guitarist Mitsuri sings.
Fun reaction! The best reactors pause and add interesting commentary (as you pointed out, those who want to listen to the whole song can just go do so on their own), and you have fun stuff to say. Your pauses make sense to me. Thanks for another reaction to Band-Maid, looking forward to more! I think you would like their song Puzzle. Very angsty! Check out the live version, or the acoustic live if you want a sadder version. Or both!
Well said! This is why representation matters! Women inspiring women. Akane, Band Maid's drummer was shocked and inspired when she found out that the drummer for popular Japanese hard rock band Maximum the Hormone was female. Check out Nemo's "Life" next. The lyrics are just beautiful and kinda touches on the subject. The setup is Tamu, their drummer was away on maternity leave; so this was the first time playing together in a while. They are all facing her, welcoming her back and I believe dedicated the song to her baby.
Hello it's me again Saiki is running wild in this song she's really been let off the chain lately. Here's an idea (possibly not a very good one) if you have to pause just for utube why not just read a recent comment from another song or recent suggestions for other songs to react to. That way you can plan your pauses regardless of whether you can think of anything to say about the clip. You could have planned pauses every 60 seconds. If it happens to be in the middle of a solo you just wind it back. Anyway like I said just an idea.
I don't like planning my reactions bc I feel like it would make me not have an authentic reaction bc then I know that something major is coming up. And soemtiems I may notice something that another reactor doesn't. I do try to rewind to play again. I prolly should of done that more for this one. But I'm trying to get into the habit of needing to do this 😂
@KitzMoMediaGroup I know it's hard trying to follow someone else's instructions especially when they don't give any reason for doing so although I suspect utube is afraid of the music industry lawyers I think it's always going to be awkward and clunky but at the end of the day it's an opportunity for fans to mobilise and promote their favourite bands. You are doing ok anyway you aren't lacking in any area I just thought I'd come up with a brilliant idea just incase you are stumped for comment in the future.
The entire Japanese metal/rock scene is probably the best in the world at the moment. The all-female bands have been at the forefront. Lovebites, Band-Maid, Nemophila & Hanabie are generally the most popular, but there are others as well. There are some truly elite level musicians in Japan. Hanabie is known for their genre flips, time changes and some really heavy riffs thrown in. Their songs tend to be about societal issues (This one is toxic office culture). The vocalist (Yukina) is a 4.10 beast. Try Otaku Lovely Densetsu
Sixiwanzi and their song aLIEs is worth a look. It's not heavy just catchy. I still can't get used to the idea that Saki isn't going to be replaced. Have you cut your hair? Anyway see you.
They were amazing live. Here's some LOVEBITES you should check out if you haven't already. Lovebites is the resurrection of heavy metal. Lineup: Haruna - drums Fami - bass (since October 2022). Miho (until August 2021, founder of the band) Midori - guitar, backing vocals Miyako - guitar, keyboards, classical piano, backing vocals Asami - lead vocals, some piano Some people say that brutality has never been so gorgeous. Next recommendation “The hammer of wrath”, live.
The best metal band to come along in decades. All elite musicians. The 2 guitarists (Midori & Miyako) are among the best duos I've heard ever. Dive deeper, they just get more impressive.
@@KitzMoMediaGroup They don't have any bad songs. For more thrashy try "Shadowmaker", "Hammer of Wrath", "Thunder Vengeance", "Break the Wall". Others "Judgement Day", "Swan Song", "A Frozen Serenade" and any suggestions you get from others. They don't miss.
Low visits number cause wrong name band... Is Lovebites, just one word. This is a fine example of one wrong tittle making a huge impact in your numbers.
Seen them a little over a month ago in a very small venue in London. One of the best gigs I have ever been to. Their stage presence is second to none and the talent is off the charts
Stood directly in front of Miyako, the dark haired guitarist, at their show in Germany. Saw her playing 1 meter in front of me. Has been absolutely amazing!
Asami: Lead Vocals, piano, The One and Only Voice Haruna: Drums Little BIG Engine Midori: Guitars, backing vocals, Crazy Shredder Miyako: Guitars, piano/keyboards, backing vocals, The Golden Touch Fami: Bass guitar, backing vocals Shining Fingers
There are many songs you should check out. Some example: "Judgment day" (OMV), "Break the wall" (LIVE 2020), "The hammer of wrath" (LIVE 2023), "Set the world on fire" (LIVE 2021), "Frozen serenade" (LIVE 2021)... an so on... Thanks for nice reaction and good trip with the Lovebites

Japanese ladies are talented, feminine, and are a good cook, a far cry from their western counterpart. These ladies are fine examples of real feminism. The western feminists with their masculine behavior make me sick.
