..and just like that, a man has his day totally ruined. Been there, done that on many occasions, but not with an aircraft as expensive as that one! Excellent pilot, very, very smooth on the controls. His years of experience is obvious, even to a blind person. One consolation, at least it didn't catch fire upon impact.
I remember seein a stunt plane doin this when I was goin diving. Made me think to myself… “Ah yes, the game has intensified! Time to make skydivin interestin again!
That inverted turn smoothly blended into a knife-edge was the highlight of the flight. The engine flamed out in the worse moment, but such is the hobby, it comes with the territory. Here's hoping that this fine pilot is back in the air with this or another beautiful jet as soon as possible.
You are one of the reasons why america is in the state of lawlessness that it is. People are supposed to be weary of the police, respect them. Cops are there to maintain law and order, protect and serve. You think they would've served the community by "racing" kids who most probably stole the shopping cart?! Get real please. I'm sure the cops had no intention of charging the kids, but to scare the shit out if them for taking a cart without permission. Now, by being a jerk, the kids completely lost their fear of being confronted when they break the law.
Excellent photography and I got the feeling the person flying the model got a little to enthusiastic as some of those outside turns the G force load on them was tremendous and any moment I expected the wings to rip off. The last spin with the flame out was such a shame as no one wants to see a model get destroyed. Even if the airframe was scrap hopefully all his components and motor were salvaged
