Bro I would recommend that if you spend a lot of time in the water to get a start and stuff that buying the like ocean DLC where u can get a torch skin that works underwater.
Side note, they use logic gates because there is some simple and goofy shit you can do. Most basic would be like if you where using solar panels for powere you can set it to work off of solar power when its day time, or battery power at night based on which one is providing more power. At least thats why i think they use them.
Yea good point. Logic gates do have way more functionality. In my brain I was thinking it would be way more accessable to most people if you jsut used normal switches, but to be honest, more is probably better, as long as its not too complicated. that suggestion got me thinking, you could use a solar panel as a super expensive photocell to turn the lights on automatically at night and off at day. Idk exactly if its true, but I think that switches have an input on the side that will switch the switch on if an input is received. If so you just use one power source from a battery and then another from the solar panel going into a nand and then have that output of nand going into the switch to switch it on. Then to switch it back off, you can an input from the solar panel branch off and go directly into the switch off. You could also have other switches go into the off as well if you want to be able to turn it on/off still at night. Honestly the electrical system in the game is my fav part.
@tedd4027 same, the electrical and base duties are what keep me invested lol. Yeah the switches have on and off inputs. Technically you could even wire the on switch to a pressure plate that has no electricity going to it; because, unless they patched it, the pressure plate automatically outputs 1 power for like a second or something. I used to use it for auto closing doors in older trap bases lol. I also enjoy making kill switches along raiding paths, that automatically switches the door system off. While simultaneously cutting the power to that kill switch, using electrical branches to use the power from the first switch to power the second lol
Honestly I could rant about the electricity for hours, but on top of that this game has, in my opinion, the most useful companion phone app. I'm talking, active map with in game time, server pop and live tracking of your character and teammates, the ability to sync smart switches to the app so you can switch things from anywhere, and recently the ability to watch your in game camera feeds or monument camera feeds when your offline.
oml next wipe im going to try to do that trap base with the automatically closing doors. THats gonna be so perfect. ill Keep doing it till I get raided. I got some of the blueprints needed for that this wipe on a 500 pop server and wipe day is soon. Ill give you credit at the start of the vid for the idea if the video gets good enough to publish :). I might even put a serurity camera in it so I can sjut watch to see if people get trapped from a secure base a little ways away. @@TheCubanIsIn
Ok sooo by no means carrying the weight of 10000+ hours, but i do have like 2400 or so. You seem like youd be fun to play with reguardless of hours played lol
I got bored of gaming so videos went with that. I never quit just didnt have shit to edit you know. If I record something I think is funny Ill edit it. Im pretty much done caring about views at this point. @@eltwatou3734
I forgot that youtube fucking lowers the audio of videos a ton after I upload them. So this video is kinda qeiet and lame and honestly stupid but I already deleted the edit so I cant rebalance all the audio louder sadly.
my goal in trove is getting ganda to tell my friend who just started the game that i got the rarest mount in the entire game , then my life is complete bro
