The game is Microsoft Flight Simulator and costs around 60$. It takes up very much space, requiring atleast 120GB of space. You might be able to get a great discount and the storage is also worth it if you're into it.
6:14 i am not sure wether the airbrake is deployed before touchdown. who ever was a passenger in a commercial aircraft, has noticed it's only active after touching the ground
The airbrake was deployed in this case, since you aren‘t allowed to exceed certain speeds in the pattern and I was descending at the same time, requiring me to decelerate through airbrakes.
You are somewhat correct. I did not follow correct case 3 departure procedures, however it is different from case 1 departures. You can see the correct procedure here: forum.dcs.world/topic/235915-the-image-of-case-iii-departure-in-sc-manual-is-wrong/ (Please ignore the discussion around the procedure in the forum link I attached, I‘m only reffering to the depiction 😁)
Awesome views! Really cool video, the only thing that might make it better is to have captions (not hardcoded though) explaining what's going on :) would be really interesting for an enthusiastic noob such as myself. I usually get my info from the Growler Jams and Alex Bowman channels but DCS would be handy as well :p
VTOL VR fills the 5th gen-shaped hole in my DCS-loving heart. All three games have their strengths though, and really contribute to a golden age of sim flying depending on what you value.
@@nextoz1321 DCS is about modeling aircraft and their systems using real world data that's been declassified. As cool as this F-35B is in MSFS, it's not a "realistic" simulation of the actual jet. It's just a toy with a nice 3D model.
I love your stuff! the videos you put out are my favorite for DCS. the mix of internal and external cameras and the cool scenarios. I especially love the latest Desert Storm ones. I would love some A10/F16/F15E to go with the F18 and F4 ones
This is so chill. You know this heavy girl will succeed in her mission. You don't have to think about (as a viewer) if something would go really wrong, (Otherwise you wouldn't post that). You can just watch this while doing something else.
@@NATO_Believer no, they just fixed radar of f15e. Thats only 1 thing they made and it took more than month to them. There is no new functions or anything added. ED doesnt have enough resources to keep working on their own projects and take abandoned razbam projects, but said that they just couldnt leave radar broken.
@@NATO_Believer awesome I don't know.... If razbam give not acces of all folder.. This is not good this story... More people request money of the module f15
Yes, it all looked easy, but I knew an F-18 pilot with a Mitchell Wing hang-glider and spent half a day with him at a flying site, he was too cool, too modest. And now I realize F-18's are hard to fly. lol
