This channel will be made up almost entirely of Who Wants to be a Millionaire episodes, from the original primetime run with Regis Philbin. I have many of the full celebrity editions. There are a few other game shows thrown in that I may have come across.
At the time he got out the Klaxon sounded on the previous game. "Not a good way to end an episode!" Was my reaction as Eric Mason was on before him, losing it all not knowing that genuflect means not to dance but to kneel.
3:11 that is so wild for 2004. Game shows had a family-friendly image at the time. You would 100% see a question like that on Kimmel’s Millionaire reboot.
I’m surprised they didn’t leave enough time at the end for Regis to do a proper farewell at that time…sure it was moving to syndicated & did “Super Millionaire”, but there’s no way they would’ve known that Regis would be back for that spin-off & the 10th anniversary…and what happened to those contestants that were still in the “fastest finger” chairs? Did they automatically qualify for the syndicated version?
@@justinm.1 Why would the fastest finger contestants get a free shot? It's the end of an episode, they had their chance in this episode just like every other episode. There was no signoff for Regis likely because at the time of filming they weren't sure the primetime show was going away. Although as you said it did return for super millionaire a few years later.
I'm amazed how fast some FFF times were. He processed the question, the answers, how to order them and hit the right 5 buttons in order (including submit) in 2.48 seconds? Wow.
That is such a bonkers amount of effort for a game show. Isn't there 6 contestants and they have 3 PAFs each? So every episode involves sending somebody to 18 different houses in case they get called?
