I've gotta play sims 4 now that I got mac silicon where sims 2 and 3 (my fav games) don't work. I didn't wanna play sims4 cause I thought it's not suitable for legacy playing with local aging neighbors and all but after your video I think sims 4 has a way larger world than I thought and now I'm really thrilled to try this way of playing. Like I'm actually shocked how much you can do in this game, earlier parts seems more understandable
Thanks for the tip about cancel moving when placing NPCs. Usually I place directly from the gallery and evict. Then edit their fits from the manage household menu. Which works but I like to switch it up sometimes.
Your voice is too quiet; I need to turn my headphones volume to 100 just to be able to hear you. For comparison, it's normally at around 10-20 with the RU-vid player at max volume.
Thanks for watching I'm glad you liked it! I used to write it down in a notebook and still do because I don't often keep my spreadsheet up to date but with my new series I've been trying to. Having the spreadsheet is so helpful when you come back to families you get a mini recap which I need. Definitely try it!
can you sigh in your videos when you’re not talking so the microphone picks up extreme wind between your words and please turn off the game sound so the extreme wind can be heard better? please put harsh wind and future video titles. absolutely love the wind by the way. I didn’t think you were going to do it before. I guess you really really enjoyed my original idea.
I totally understand removing your mods - they are so good to have but so annoying to keep updated. I don't play completely mod free - I use MCCC, UI cheats and a couple of game fixes from LittleMsSam (because some bugs are just too annoying) but I try to stick to creators who are pretty quick when it comes to updates and fixes. Enjoying your videos, in the process of making my first base save thanks to you.😊
I used to do that too! I had a lot of LittleMsSam,, Peridot Sims and I'd get my cc from like 3 creators but I just had WAY too many mods & cc in my game, and my computer slowed down and I was annoyed so now I gave up lol. Congratulations on making your first base save! It makes life so much easier I hate having to load into the CAS every time. Saves time and energy lol
Really enjoyed watching your savefile in action - going to set one up and give it a go. Had to laugh when both Travis and Summer got the Jealous trait!... that will make things very interesting indeed😀 Looking forward to following along - new subscriber here.
Thank you! This was really useful. I'm still struggling a little with finding my optimal way of playing rotationally - I was a Sims2 player for many, many years, only started playing TS4 in 2019 (skipped TS3 completely) so coming from a game where I had one save with 100's of played families, I'm still working out the best way for me in the TS4. Will definitely follow along on your LP.
@@palomaformell4245 I made this comment seven months ago as a heads up to the person posting the video. I'm not sure why a handful of people have suddenly decided to respond to it by implying that it must be a me problem because it sounded fine to them, but I will point out 1) over the 7 months this comment has existed 22 people gave it a thumbs up which implies that they agreed the audio was low, 2) I am not the only person who posted a comment saying that the audio on the video was low, and 3) the person who posted the video responded to one of the other comments about the audio seven months ago "Thanks for letting me know. Getting a new microphone soon."
@@the.hippiesimmer since you love my idea so much, make sure your microphone is literally on your mouth the entire time you talk. If you’re comfortable with that kind of extreme wind feedback, it should sound like wind in every word you say. make sure to put harsh wind or ASMR in the titles of future videos.
