Auch Jons Band kann nicht an die alten Zeiten anknüpfen. Habe mir gestern ein YES Keys-Konzert angeschaut. Hier liegen Welten dazwischen. Seine Band hat ungefähr das gleiche Niveau wie die offiziellen YES zur Zeit.
There are some bands/musicians I used to love who still carry on and try to cash in on nostalgia that fans feel for the artists' earlier artistic years and popularity. Unfortunately, many of those artists are shells of their former creative/artistic/talented selves (no names to protect the old and weary). However, Jon Anderson still sounds amazing!!! His voice and energy are still top notch. As I listen I'm never worrying the next note will be off key or his age will suddenly reveal strained energy. Instead, I can close my eyes and hear a version of Jon Anderson from 20, 30, 40 years ago. Great stuff!!!
Band Geeks are awesome. Followed them for a few years. Bass player is (was?) guitar/keys/vocals for BöC. Immensely talented group of players. Their friends drop in to play/record. Great fun!
This isn't even the best rendition of the live shows they did, but it really gives you the 'live' experience! I absolutely love this kind of show. Especially as I never got to see them live. Well done Carl! x
Experienced these guys at Northern Kin a few years back and was totally blown away. Before they came on I was thinking 'this isn't gonna work' because there wasn't any keyboards set up, how wrong I was! Carl is just as precise as he ever was, and the lads either side are amazing. P.S. Never seen a Chapman Stick used before, and this lad can create any sound he wants on this thing. As does the guitarist. Awesome three piece!
I first saw the LP in ‘71 or was it ‘72? Absolutely mind blowing. Three fantastic musicians. But I find this presentation very macabre and not something I want to watch myself. Of course, many people will enjoy this, and I wish Carl good luck, but I just find it most peculiar.
The Band Geeks used to have a female vocalist who sang the Jon’s part, correct? Think I saw the youtube vid long before they joined Jon. What is she doing now?
Glad I got to see the Original Band in the 70's In the Round, or, at least with Alan White on drums. Wakeman was fun to watch the whole night and Steve Howe, well, what can I say. Nothing compares to Yes back then, but, I will give this a B.
Il faut en profiter , tant que la vie continue .Hot Tuna c'est notre patrimoine à nous tous , douceur de 🤣 la musique légère .. Avec le 🌠 temps ils ont appris le rythme . La contre culture 68 . Jefferson Airplanne Woodstock,les meilleurs moments. Atlamont , que de bons souvenirs . Maintenant nous avons la chance , ils sont bien là , ont profitent au maximum . C'est une grande chance, pour nous. Bonne soirée à tous

Love how the band is really trying to sound accurate and precise. I thought I was listening to the actual album at one point. Kudos to everyone! Jon has still got it!!! Amazing!!!
I was front row , V.I.P. at this concert. I got his Autograph on a poster and I was able see Z Z TOP play on the stage and Billy Gibbons singing with John Fogerty. It was a phenomenal show.
