Hi T&M - We've missed you and your vlogs. Happy B-day Matt! OMG, the PODS at Heathrow are so very TRON / futuristic. Curtis loved seeing the POD video portion. Thank you for the travel part of the vlog. Was it tough having to "slum it" not being in first or business class? ✈ The bonuses on Day 1 definitely kept you "in the game." Congrats to Matt on the Minor. Thank goodness for the Buffalo retriggers. The Encore is so very "Wynn-esk." We love the cinnamon rolls with coffee. Congrats for the handpay to the Birthday Boy - very cool. You had some absolutely gorgeous weather in Boston for the day. 🌅 The lobster rolls looked so tasty. Great relaxing day in Boston and how convenient was that to catch the boat back to the hotel. Nice meal of appetizers. That was also a pretty great hit on Pinball. The machines were definitely hot on Matt's B-day. Thanks for a great vlog guys. Hope you're back in Vegas soon. We'll be there Sept 6-9 and Oct 4-7. Cheers!!!!😎🎰🍻

It’s great to see you guys again! Boston looks amazing. We almost moved there 3 years ago, but chose Columbus, Ohio instead. Kinda wish we chose Boston after seeing this vlog 😂. Happy belated birthday to Matt. Cheers, fellas.
Love flying into Vegas on the night always reminds me of being on the E.T. ride at Florida with everything lit up and just doesn't look real! you can spot the green lit baseball fields and soccer fields.....
the space is much appreciated, although too short, flying BOS-LHR, in 2023, due to headwinds, knocking off an hour of flight time.similar menu when I flew the A380 last year from LHR-Cailfornia. ( the burger was better than something in a restaurant ) when the plane is refurbished in 2025, there will supposedly be less seats in First ( articles have mentioned, only eight ) The Concorde dining felt hurried, similar to an eatery turning over tables, when I visited, and wished I had chosen to dine on the terrace, which was less busy, and did not seem to be time sensitive. safe travels
I agree about the flight time - a longer west coast flight would have been nicer to experience it. I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with the A380's. They have the space to do soemthing really revolutionary (for BA) with first class cabins. If they do reduce the number of seats, lets hope the overall space remains the same and we see a true first class suite emerge. If any place had the space for it, the A380 has! One member of your party had to be BA gold or one world equivalent. Only one and all can use the first class bad drop (we had 5 in our group). However, we then had to use the standard task track security. In order to fully utilise both first class bad drop, first security and to use the gold lounge, at lease half of your party must have BA gold or one world equivalent. Hope this helps!
What did BA say ? presuming you contacted them when you landed or even on your return to the UK.? you could have asked to lodge a complaint during the flight and you would have received a paper receipt that would have allowed you to follow up when you landed. I saw this on a WTP flight recently when the IFE screens didn't work for the entire flight. I wasn't bothered as i wanted to sleep anyway, but the people in front were very upset.
They did compensate with Avios and were quite open about how this should not have been the case. We were happy with the outcome. It was a shame to post a negative video as we video our flights at random, but it is a genuine experience, good or bad. 🙂🙃
Disappointed, but not surprised - haha. Great vid btw! 🤙🏼 The stern announcement probably had something to do with a plane-full of brits on their ways to Vegas and need to be reminded how to behave... and TBF, vegas is notorious amongst flight and cabin crews as being one of the worst destinations to fly to so I'm not surprised. Secondly, there are small-town crime syndicates that operate more efficiently than BA - I do sometimes wonder if it's all just a toddler playing Airport Tycoon 🤪🎮
If you get it in a sale, it is worth it from economy. It is just a shame the flight we decided to capture was not a good one. It happens, but to be fair, we've had more good or 'meets expectations' than we have ever had bad.
I’m you can access BA lounges if flying in Club or First, or are a BA silver or higher or one work equivalent. I don’t believe you can pay to access. Everything inside the lounges are free with the hotel exception of some spa treatments
Thank you ☺️ I always find the food depends on taste if the business class food wasn’t great, there’s a good chance the premium economy food wasn’t great too. And vice versa 🙃
We're going to Yosemite and SEKI for the first (and likely only) time this fall. Flying into Fresno and spending the night in Oakhurst just as you did. Four days and nights in Yosemite. :)
What a miserable experience. Some airlines treat premium economy as business minus the seat; BA apparently treat it as economy plus an amenity kit. I fail to see how this ~premium cabin is worth anything over economy.
Such a good question, it’s taken us this long to think about it! If we’re talking just rooms and only rooms, I think we agree that Park MGM would take it. The resorts are quite different though which may alter your opinion. Both properties have recently renovated rooms however NYNY seems to have left their bathrooms largely untouched. NYNY’s room theming has really upped itself recently and both would be great places to stay. If you smoke of course then don’t stay at Park MGM as it’s 100% smoke free and you’d have to leave the property entirely to light up

Had the weather been better we would have done. We had places in Chinatown and little Italy in our lists but the rain was too heavy and being out last day we changed our plans to avoid getting drenched ☺️

Hello @TheTigerMothMan - yes, only on the upper deck. The A380's are starting a refurb soon to update the cabins, however I would imagine the layout would remain the same and that will not start until towards the end of 2024 and into 2025 I believe
