base pay for universal orlando is 17 an hour as of last year for everyone who works there, but i feel like I remember the characters making a bit more. they also have great benefits and offer full time status to a lot of their employees. not a living wage at all, but its not as bad as you're making it out to be. the suit in hot muggy florida is horrid tho, a lot of people have those little neck air conditioners to have anything.
No,cause i worked at Disney and the pay for normal employees was $16-17 while entertainment was $21 and up and i know Universal is the same when it comes to pay.
This couldn't be more accurate When I first had to move out of my parents' a year ago , I was overjoyed at the idea of living with one of my closest buddies Well , long story short , I moved out after 3 months and we don't even talk anymore . You really don't know people until you share a flat with them 😕
My hack is going May or June right before break on a Monday or Thursday and getting there early in the morning as soon as it opens and make sure to go on a cloudy day you do that yourself your money would definitely be worth it and for food probably pizza from Pizza Pizza is the best deal I could find and if you do this you can go at every ride and enjoy everything within 3 to 4 hours
Exactly why is Jellycats so high in demand and are they higher in demand than gold? And are they more valuable than gold? 🤔 My mom said plushies will never go high in price, not against gold anyways. 🤨
$300 is A LOT of money. Also, I'm so sorry, but only in the world of the privileged get anything paid for by their parents. Welcome poor people who paid for their own college, and themselves.
$13 an hour to run around in a big costume entertaining 100s of children everyday while in orlando weather?? i make more working at lowes as a cashier....thats actually awful
Yeah I remember thinking that people who worked at amusement parks must make a lot of money. Then I learned how much poverty that comes from those workers I'm like what the hell??? Like they have literal Disney money and people can't make rent?
I worked a job like this at a theme park near me, genuinely really enjoyed it at the time, the breaks were really generous but I was surprised how many people like come up to you and try to punch you (you can’t feel it but still)
Wait I didnt even notice the bull was a canadian bill for the first 5 vids I watched 😭 It just never registered in my brain cuz that's the normal to me 😂
If the closest waterpark wasn't several hours away going the speed limit I'd love this as a summer job, but whenever I take myself somewhere I always forget something because nobody asks if I have everything
My uncle used to work at a soft toy factory. They used the same teddies, but for the cheap ones they just put them in boxes but for the ones going to expensive brands they would brush out the fur, tie a ribbon on it and put it into a nice box. The same teddy, just presented differently. Not saying Jellycat specifically does this but it’s something to bear in mind (pardon the pun😅)
You should do a lunch under 10$ where you factor in the price of transportation and time away from work - the lunch under 5$ thing doesn’t really work if you have to drive halfway across the city to find cheap tacos and going to three grocery stores if you’re trying to do it all in an hour or less
I had to sit a friend down and show them that their investment yield was lower than their savings account interest... Get a high yield savings account for guaranteed returns, instead of gambling on Wall Street. Not financial advice, my opinion!!!
