HELLO ALL ART GALLERIES - I am an emerging Southern California Artist, who has created a number of unique Artwork, unlike anything out there, I am seeking to partner with a Gallery to get some of my work shown in the 2025 LA Artshow, please contact me if and I will show you my work...!
I dont normaly comment but this was one of the better shows that Ive seen due to the general creativity of these artists. Inspires me to get back into it. Also kudos for the excellent camera work.
Why so much cartoon-art? Garish colors, tired themes..some good stuff, like from Peru nearer the end of the viddo. Probably 15% worthy to be called Art.
I have a feeling that too many artists want to stand out and there is something a bit gimmicky about them, maybe commercial? I'm not sure, but Kapim Lee seems like an artist who really surpasses others in this exhibition in terms of quality.
Thanks for sharing your views of the exhibition. I have to say the artworks are not of a standard that I was expecting. I would say that about 10% were interesting. The rest were so predictable.
Malevich's radical gesture is that with his black square he defeated the sun (a symbol of traditional culture). Over time, the square was transformed into a pixel and became the basis of all computer graphics. Postmodernity raised the square to the flag and began to deconstruct everything that was possible, in the end there was nothing left. It is being replaced by metamodernity and recognizes oscillation as the basis of all. The sun rises and sets. With my work I showed exactly this. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ALW8-tclRHk.htmlsi=tEx_boFJQBXRNzAN
