We make software for converting spherical panoramas and image series of objects into interactive 360º videos. Here you'll find a collection of tutorials for both software programs. You'll also find tips aimed at our more advanced users.
Pano2VR converts spherical or cylindrical panoramic images into interactive 360º panoramas for playback on portable devices, kiosks and the modern web browser.
Object2VR takes an image series of an object (or subject) from multiple angles and positions and from them creates interactive 360º object movies.
Hello i have website in elementor and after downloading and activate the garden gnome plugin and upload the package the player navigation buttons are not showing on the frontend, how can I fix this issue?
Hi, can you send in your support package to support@ggnome.com with a full description of the issue. Please use all the default settings when creating the package so it includes your project and skin files.
Our team uses a myriad of cameras. These images were shot with a Canon DSLR and Fisheye Len. Some of our images are with taken Canon, Nikon, and Sony DSLRs. We also use the Ricoh Z1 and Insta360 cameras.
To make a Tiny Planet, you would use the Stereographic Projection. There are a few ways to make it. Apply a Fly-in effect at the beginning of a tour (found in the web output properties) and build it in animation. Or just add the projection options to the right-click menu of the tour. You can also create tiny planets for print using the Transformation output (ggnome.com/doc/pano2vr/guide/export/output-transformation/create-little-planet/).
Hi there, do you have to build two different projects if you want to be able to view through VR and desktop/mobile? Also the fireplace burning is embeded video?
Hi, the video shows that you create one tour, you then add a skin for the normal web output. After this you enable the VR output where you can add your own custom VR skin or add one of ours. So it's all built in the one project.
Hey martin! I need to ask you how i can control audio in pano2vr 6.1 actually i want to start my project with silent audio hotspot and start whenever i want to listen is it possible or not
Hy guys, I really need help...The icons of all the nodes ( the pre-installed notes like,,venis, material, feather) became really small and barely can see it on output .. I don't know how I did it but I can't figure out how to fix it ! I even uninstalled the program and installed it back but it did not work,.. can you please help me??
Hi! That's odd. Did you try to create a new project? Maybe try with our test panos found here: ggnome.com/doc/pano2vr/guide/tour-build/tour/? In any case, send us an email to support@ggnome.com - our official direct support line. We will get back to you far faster than here!
Hello guys. I'm here in the free trial of Object2VR and loving it so far. I need help with the url pop window. The thing is: when I navigate the project on the PC and I click the URL hotspot, the pop window of the URL shows up like it is supposed to, I mean, it pops up within the frame of the project. But when I navigate on a smartphone or iPad and click in the URL hotspot, it then goes to another tab window. The image-pop window, for example, works fine on every device, it shows the image window inside the project window and that's what I need to see when I click the URL hotspot when navigating on the smartphone and iPad. Basically, I just want to see the URL pop window inside the same tab as the project and not in another tab window. Is it possible? Thank you for the help
Hi, Due to screen size we made the disunion that on a mobile any URL Point Hotspot should open in a new window, however you can disable this feature. Open the skin and save it to your project folder so it can be edited. Depending on which skin you are using, for example the venis skin, select the ht_url hotspot template in the skins tree. You will see it has a few actions that all have the * showing it has an action filter. Open each action and select the action filter button. If you now remove the line *resp_phone = true, in all actions it will now not detect the mobile and open in a frame within the output.
OMG all these freaking videos be like its free then when you go to save the file it is like that is a premium version. All I had to do was this. I am remaking this video to show people how to do it since it is 11 years old and I am adding this link :)😄
We are happy you found it useful. Of course, if you have Pano2VR 6 or 7 or Object2VR 4 thay have our colour tool which also does this. Here is a video from the Object2VR 4 page but it is the same to use for Pano2VR: ggnome.com/doc/object2vr/guide/create-skin/using-color-tool/
Sure! Check out this webinar. Here we build 2 Pano2VR projects. One is the tour and the other is a gallery of images. They can be flat images, 360 images, object movies, etc (Anything that the Pano2VR player supports). About mid-way, you learn how to create a hotspot to pop up the gallery. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eSdb08N0P0k.htmlfeature=shared&t=2959
Most of the 101 webinars although using Pano2VR 6 do cross to Pano2VR 7.1.x Pano2VR has many parts to it, patching, Hotspots, the web output, the transformation output Street View upload etc, etc. This would be far too much for one video. Please send your suggestion about what you would like to see in a video to support@ggnome.com. Many thanks
The convert feature was added with Pano2VR 6.1. So as long as you're using 6.1 one or later, it should be there. Also, this is only available for the Image-type patch.
Hi! Right, no need for photoshop! But, it's not unlimited (or free for us), unfortunately. So, we introduced a token-system. More in this post: ggnome.com/2024/04/pano2vr-7-1-beta/
Hello Martin I have stuck in another problem....Today i upload my project before uploading my project I'm trying to link my node with google map but I have failed to find my project location.... I'm using now World Map but continuously yellow triangle sign show to right corner of my world map and other map and i didn't understand what the problem behind it. I properly link my all nods sequentially ... So Kindly Tell me What can I do for this
Hi, if you mouse over the yellow triangle it will then show you what the warning is for, but it is probably to say the map provider cannot provide image tiles at this zoom level. Try zooming out until the yellow warning hides. If none of the above helps, then please send in a screenshot to support@ggnome.com with reference to this message.
You cannot open the HTML page directly from the output folder. Before you can give out a link you need to upload the output to a hosting service. You can use your own hosting or you can use our Gnome Cloud Hosting, please see: ggnome.com/gnome-cloud/
Once the (entire) output folder is uploaded to your web server, then you just need to link to the index.html file. For example: "mywebsite.com/myproject/index.html"
I have every hotspot linked. Saved the project, and refreshed it but it doesn't show the hotspots on the localhost. And also when set default view every panorama follows the same direction. I can't do it individually
Hi! The hotspots should show either as the red dot default icons or if a skin is applied and has a hotspot template for node type hotspots, then the icon for that should be visible. The built-in skins all have the necessary template and icons. If you've added a skin and still do not see the hotspots on output, please email us at support@ggnome.com so we can take a look at your project. Tour nodes use the Target View, not the Default View. If you linked the images using Automatic Linking, then the nodes are already using Forward for the Target View. Otherwise, you can use use the Target Viewing Parameter window to make a custom target view.
@@SupportGnome Thanks a lot, I got it! I realized I couldn't put hotspots with projection stereographic. I mean, when I change all the panos from projection: rectilinear to stereographic or fisheye the hotspots disappear. Why?
They are used mostly as special effects, like a Fly In for a dramatic opening to the tour with Stereographic projection. Fisheye projection could be used for wider initial views. You can see how they're used in an animated auto-rotation in our examples at pano2vr.com.
Great program! Made with a lot of thought and very practical! I like this a lot - Generative AI Patches. But, I think it duplicates the AI in photoshop. I wouldn't pay credits to two programs for the same one. But at the same time, it's a huge step forward for itself program!
Thank you for the feedback!! We appreciate it! It's useful for those who do not use Photoshop/Adobe Products or when using these patches in the Master Node. This way, there's no need to leave Pano2VR! Whatever helps your workflow best...you have the option. :)
The 1 more thing I'm doing in my project i'm applying vr in my project but my client want vr in toggle form....i mean to say vr only can enter there is no option to exit so can you guid me how can i do this feature to exit vr and go to home back?
Hey Martin, I'm currently using Pano2VR 6.1.11 and I'm looking to add a feature where I can control snow effects with a button, toggling it on and off. Do you have any tips on how I could achieve that?
Can we change the button color based on Data filled in Google spreadsheet, like if if we put "Available" in google spreadsheet then Button color changes Red to Blue or something like that
@@sahildhingra8508 In that case adding a backend would be the best to do the connection in a safe way. For backend development we use either NodeJS or Python-Django. There are some nice tutorials for them on different platforms
You can find explanations of the placeholders in our Pano2VR 101 series: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DH8mWnLA8XY.html. Or in our documentation: ggnome.com/doc/pano2vr/create-skin/
I have been waiting for target view for thumbnails, so that is fantastic. + the transition effect is a bonus. You mention at 4:20 to come back and show where to set it. I did not see it but found the settings in the skin. I think I will customize all the skins to set it as default.
Quick question, Would this work if I am building a multi-language tour? If I’m building a button to toggle English to Spanish, would I need to create two variables for each fields?
Hi, you need to adjust the Target View. Check out this ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7w8fgCMRkKo.html or this ggnome.com/doc/pano2vr/project-setup/image-preparation/set-default-view/
You would still use the Target View. This sets the view when you enter a tour node via a Hotspot. Default View will be used when you enter that node from a menu, for example. If you're trying to create a button that points to a specific view, then you can use the Move to View action in the skin editor. If you need more detailed help, write to us at support@ggnome.com. We will certainly get back to you!
Please help me, how do I set the initial viewing direction for each photo within the tour? in viewing parameters when I define some value (viewing angle, tilt or rotation) it is applied to all photos in the tour and not just the current photo
The settings aren't applied to all nodes unless you click, "Copy to all nodes". Make sure you click "Set" to set the default view for the current image. See: ggnome.com/doc/pano2vr/project-setup/image-preparation/set-default-view/
So amazing and much needed webinar of the time. Also if you show how to do the same thing through the Google Cloud API would be more appreciated. Thanks
Hey I am Camilo from Perspektiva360. I am glad the webinar was informative and useful for you. For the Cloud API more advanced programming needs to be done. If you need it, on the description of the video you can find a link to a website in which you can reach out to us for a quote :)
Our company bought Pano2VR and I just made my first executable presentation. There was only one small hiccup, as I open the package.json, I had to leave name: "my tour" as is, if I changed that the exe wouldn't open. I cant get the toolbar to show that I dont mind about that... Anyway - works now and that is all that matters.
I'm using the trial version published on April 10, 2024. How can I make a polygon hotspot behave differently when hovered over versus when clicked? I'd like to display my component when the mouse hovers over the polygon hotspot, but when clicked, I'd like to display a button or navigate to a URL. Currently, I can achieve this by adding a hidden object and setting it to 'Go to URL' in the 'Actions' panel when the Hotspot Proxy ID is set. However, this method seems cumbersome. Ideally, I would prefer to show the button after clicking the hotspot, and then after clicking the button, navigate to the URL. But it appears to be impossible.
Hi, You can set up a container that would use a Hotspot Proxy ID using a regular expression. This way you can get your component to work with a selected group of Polygon Hotspots, for example, #Image.* This would then trigger with any Hotspot which starts with Image, so Image01, Image02 etc. Then you can add a Hotspot Custom Property for the URL. When adding the Polygon Hotspot use type Skin Proxy. The container would have the actions to Mouse Enter, Set Variable Value, the idea is as you mouse enter you set the URL from the custom property into a second variable. The button in your component then has the action, Mouse Click, Go To URL, (placeholder for second variable). This would work with any Hotspot with an ID that starts with Image. For more information or questions about this or anything else please contact us at support@ggnome.com
You can also check this document to get the basic workflow for using Hotspot Proxy IDs for Polygon Hotspots: ggnome.com/doc/object2vr/guide/create-popups/polygon-popups/
hi! i need help to change landmark settings. is there a faster way for example a shortcut on keyboard??? pls send me an answer. if any one else here know pls contact me! il be so grateful for any help

Great tutorial!! I have version 5 and I can't see google maps when selected...its just a blank (grey) tour map box. I also don't have the option to add a floor plan. I have versions 5.2.5 pro. Would you be able to tell me how to correct this so I can add floor plans and maps please? Thanks
Google changed how we displayed Google Maps this broke maps in teh older versions of Pano2VR, we weer able to craete a new build of Pano2VR 6, but we would npt be able to do anything with Pano2VR 5. If you need maps then you will need to upgrad eto Pano2VR 7. If you have more questions please copntact support@ggnome.com
@@SupportGnome thanks for getting back to me. I guess an up grade is necessary. In the meantime until I can save up for the latest version I don’t suppose there’s a way to create a floor plan in v5 that works like the one in version 6? I’ve looked around for tutorials but can’t find any. Thanks
Hi, Sir. is there a video showing an actual shoot of a real object and not a 3D model? Also if possible, the straight shoot procedure on a PC. The minimum/maximum number of images is recommended in a single row. Is there any background drop or change background option available? Adding simple HOTSPOTs? My product is more than 150 kg in weight and requires 2 people to climb up on that table to adjust the position on the said turntable which adds another almost 150kg weight temporarily I don't see any of your recommended turntables to bear that much weight. Will your software Object2VR 4 control the camera and the heavy-duty Chinese turntable (claims up to 300kg weight) available online stores? I am very serious to start this new project so pls guide me from Basic as it is my 1st time.to shoot 360 VR.
Hi, the scooter is real and not CGI. Thsi was shot using teh X/Y Imager table. Please can you e-mail into support@ggnome.com with any details about the Chinese table you want to use. Please ask teh questions in the e-mail and we will be happy to answer.
I have a problem when I try to see the even the demos on the Android viewer: No matter what I do, everything looks like as if I had shifting eyes. Why is that? Im using an Android A33. HELP, i´m exploring this wonderful world of VR for education, and I would really like to make this work, in order to buy the pro version. Thanks!
Whenever I apply the default visualization to a node, the same direction is applied to all nodes. How can I make each node have a different visualization?
Hi, Make the panorama/s first. It may be you have two so one coving the front and one the back or even four, one taken from each seat. Once done you add the output of Pano2VR to Object2VR 4 assets. In Object2VR you can use a text box to display the Pano2VR output using an . So the Hotspot to enter the car would show the text box and then load the . If you use Direct Node Access you can also set the view when entering the car. If you need more information please e-mail into support@ggnome.com
We are looking forward to execute custom logic on click of the button on Skin, pls cover this in next webinar and if you could point us to right documentation covering this aspect would be great.
Hi, The webinars are building up in their complexity so what we are showing is what you can do within the boundaries of the interface, so not covering custom code. That said you can do an a lot within the interface. As said we will be coving how to make your own Image, PDF and RU-vid video popups. If you have further questions then please e-mail support@ggnome.com using the e-mail address used to purchase Object2VR or include it in the e-mail if e-mailing from a different address.
@@SupportGnome I understand but my simple question is whether it is possible to do with objectvr and if yes how, point me to the documentation. I want to execute my Javascript code once a hotspot is clicked. If this can be done then only the product is useful for us for further evaluation.
