yeah 65 patch, and probably not, we played this during the server's OBT when they gave 65 and glyphs and everything for free but now thats not the case
Got roped into a hell valtan by a static today and I couldn't find a proper build to use since I'm not that experienced yet. It went meh :P I'll try your build for next week to see if it feels better then the spec build I tried
for gate 1: heavenly tune 1 1 1 rhapsody of light 2 1 2 prelude of storm 2 2 1 sonic vibration 3 2 1 harp of rhythm 1 3 1 wind of music 2 1 2 note bundle 1 2 2 guardian tune 1 1 1 in this video i was actually using guardian tune 1 1 2, until i realized that the wind of protection tripod does not block the wolf's bleed debuff. it also does not block the slow in gate 2, but i still use 1 1 2 just for the longer DR duration
@@kasmyslav yes it does, you can also spacebar it, but its good to have him do the fear since you get an extra stagger window, you can take guardian tune 112 if you want for the longer DR & to block the freeze but you have to use it very carefully during the purple phase or not at all, so i opt for 111 instead for more shield spam
Really good and clean run. Though may I ask why you do prefer Expert over Desperate Salvation ? The only reason I could think of is due to less shields but more heals. Also judging by your playstyle you were not injurely big hurt on both gates. Or is there any specific usage for Heavy Armor instead of taking Desperate Salvationb for Helltan ?
thank you! in inferno/hell mode, bards don't use desperate salvation because you really need the damage from serenade of courage to push mechanics and to meet the dps check so you shouldn't be using your heal at all. this is actually one of the major cons of bringing a bard to inferno, and it's why paladin is typically more preferred as they can heal and buff damage at the same time where bard must choose between the two. i took expert because the buffed shields, especially from high uptime shields from wind of music and guardian tune, are really nice for prog to help mitigate some of the chip damage and just overall to make the run safer heavy armor is also mainly just for personal safety, it's really powerful for inferno and has the power to both allow you to potentially survive if hit by any attacks (causing less wipes), and also to play greedier since support bard is typically very melee-oriented in order to build gauge with wind of music and prelude of storm as quickly as possible. avoiding attacks as much as possible is definitely key though, regardless of heavy armor! and same as in normal/hard valtan, rhapsody is an amazing skill in here for both the self/party damage reduction and the push immunity :)
sure :) for this phase: sound shock 311 rhapsody of light 212 wind of music 212 sonic vibration 321 prelude of storm 221 heavenly tune 111 guardian tune 212 rhythm buckshot 111 for buckshot you could also go 121 for the push immunity
@@tatianeakira currently have 485 spec 1332 swift and i run lv 3 spirit absorption, but when i get my relic accessories & set i will stop using spirit absorption because you get attack and movement speed from the 2 piece support gear set bonus
