@@SkyBandit45 sorry to hear that. I only hand launch on SAFE mode. When i spool it up, i just kind of push it up into the air, instead of throwing it at all. Are you using a 4s battery? I nosedived mine, once, when i didn’t choose safe select.
B52 was supposed to fly over. If it did, I must have missed it. Not sure how I’d miss that. No Doc or Grumpy. I did take pictures of and inside a B52 wheel well and bomb bay.
Hey thanks for the video! What battery was used for this flight? I'm picking a habu up soon and just wondering wether I want the recommended 3s battery or a 4s
Thank you! I swapped out the motor and esc and run a 6s 3200 pack. I needed to trim the canopy a bit. Run the 4s on the stock setup, if that’s the one you’re going to get. It’s still fun. It seemed like as soon as I changed my setup, Horizon came out with the Habu SS. I don’t know how my setup and the official ss version compare.
@@timh7931 happy flying! I removed the wheels and only hand launch now with SAFE mode. I’m sure the 4s setup will allow that as well. It floats in and lands on grass nice and easy!
@@joecserna cool! I ordered the stock habu and a couple 4s batteries. Should be good for me just getting into jets. I've flown RC for a few years now but this seems like a good start for jets.
@@timh7931 it’s a really good starter! I used the landing gear for a while, but now only hand launch. I put a light coat of epoxy on the bottom to keep from too many scrapes and dings! Have fun!
I just wish they didn't need to be rescued. They colony she came from has well over 100 cats right now. we're try to trap, spay-neuter, and just release most of them back into their colony. But some of them need extra help or they might not make it. Want a kitten? lol😁
I’m pretty sure he’s some kind of Seal Point variant. He comes from a feral colony where there was a lot of inbreeding. We’ve rescued and homed about 3 dozen cats now. Turquoise is my guy though!❤️thank you!
Congrats on a successful maiden. I just got mine and will be putting it together soon. They do have a wicked left roll tendency and so it is recommended to apply some right aileron on take off to offset the left torque. How much if any up elevator did you use on take off? I have heard that you need very little and to just let it lift off on its own and not give too much elevator. Nice landing too. Have fun.
I didn’t have to input much elevator at all to take off. It is a really fun model. My second flight was not good as a flew into the morning sun, lost orientation for a moment and went down. Now I have to wait for rotor blades to come back into stock! Have fun and happy flying! I’m sure you’ll love it!
@@joecserna Thanks. Sorry to hear about your second flight. There is a youtube video on how to make your own rotor blades using foam. Sorry I don't have the link but if you search for it I'm sure you can find it. The parts for this have been out of stock for months.

@@Kinley-gl7ux that I do not know. From what I understand, “tabby” is not a breed, but rather a coat pattern with lots of variation. Smidgen was part of a litter of 5 kittens we rescued. Two looked like her, two are gray and one is a seal point.

No. As I turned left, the sun hit my glasses and washed everything out. I completely lost vision and just tried to hold the turn till I could see again. With the heavy torque to the left, in a left hand turn, I think it just fell. No time to recover. I think I can fix it. Time for a parts order lol.

It's not too hard to fly. It does exhibit quite the torque moment with acceleration. I have also been practicing on Aerofly RC10 since the model is there. Thanks for watching! Cheers!😀 Edit: @nightflyyer makes everything look easy!!
@@NightFlyyer I'm going to track down nylon screws today. Not likely to fly in the next few days. Wind gusts to 40mph expected with thunder and lightning possible. I'll be practicing on RC10!
