THANK YOU! I'm so glad you figured out how to get rid of all this bloatware. It was really dragging the functionality of my television down. When I initially tried this it didn't work but I waited a few months and did it again. I don't know Samsung responded to all the complaints or what.
This is so helpful, thanks a lot ! However I was wondering, how can this work if I need a password to enter the website ? Does this mean that the website's database doesn't need the password to be accessible and I would be able to enter the database even when my account is not effective anymore ?
Hi, I tried it and it worked, however the resolution was only in 720p, despite the original video in the webiste is at 1080p. Is there a way or workaround to acquire the original resolution (1080p). Thank you!
This is no longer works for me on software version 1400 of Tizen. I get into a Developer Mode on Apps but there is no deep link option to eventually delete the default apps.
Once I connected an external keyboard I was able to press 12345 all at once to bring up the development mode menu and switch it on, followed by turning the tv on/off and continue with your instructions to remove the offending preinstalled apps. TV model: UE40NU7120 Thank you for the helpful video.
Did everything, delete was still greyed out, i did a reset, disabled auto update, delete was there this time, deleted every preinstalled app, 5 mins later they reinstalled themselves, plz help, juste with these my storage is at 85% and my tv is super slow ...
Just to add, I struggled to get the 12345 thing to work but when I used an older full remote rather than the sleek black one with fewer buttons it worked.
