For those of you who were willing to know, Peter THANKFULLY didn't spin the Big Wheel so hard that it broke off it's hinges and rolled into the audience. If that were to be the case though, BigJon would've made him pay for damages to the wheel, the set, and the numerous medical bills for the audience members who were crushed by the roll-away wheel! Not only that, but BigJon also STRICTLY prohibited Peter from bringing any Red Bull into the studio.
During a recent session of Card Sharks on my computer, I encountered a queen of spades while holding $2,600. Exercising prudent risk management, I wagered half of my current funds. Regrettably, due to an inadvertent misclick, I selected "HIGHER" instead of "LOWER," resulting in the reveal of an ace of clubs.
12:00 you widened the gap by knocking out the second highest amount in the previous round, $7.5 million. If you don't take this offer, you only need to open one case. If that one case you open has $40 million, the next highest is only $5 million which is still bigger than the current offer but the next offer will go way down. You have a 4/6 chance of opening a small amount on the left side as opposed to the two big ones. What do you do?
10:50 you just widened the gap by knocking out the second highest. You are now on the razor's edge with one more case to open before the next offer. If that other case you choose is $40 million, the next highest is only $1 million. The $40 million is even more of a landmine now. The good news, though, is there are many small amounts so your chances of eliminating those are much better.
9:45 you kind of took a hit in the previous round because you knocked out a big amount - namely $2.5 million. But all things considered, that was a pretty decent round because $20 million is still in play. If you decide not to take this offer, you have two cases to open. It is even riskier now compared to the last round because if you knock out the $20 million, the next highest is only $500,000.
15:15 you choose case 13. A lot of people think 13 is unlucky. There is only one amount that would be truly unlucky - that is the $95 million. There is a 3/4 chance the superstition surrounding the number would prove unfounded.
13:20 you just turned down over $20 million for the chance to open one more case. You have a 1/5 chance of hitting the jackpot. That would be the landmine. But you have a 4/5 chance of hitting anything else and getting one step closer to the jackpot.
You just walked away from over a quarter of the top prize for an opportunity to open one more case. The bottom-right corner is your safety net. If you knock out either amount, it makes it easier for the banker and the next offer goes down. But if you keep the two top amounts intact, the offer goes up. You have a 2/3 chance of keeping that safety net alive with four amounts to choose from our of six.
This video was supposed to premiere about 45 or so minutes ago, but it didn't premiere at all for some reason! So because of that, I've decided to make the video public for all of you to see.
11:30 You just walked away from almost $10 million for the opportunity to open one more case. The truly horrible scenario would be picking the $45 million. But you have a 5/6 chance that the next case you pick has anything else. If you leave the $45 million in play, the next offer would stay roughly the same, if not go up. It would be awesome if the next case you pick has $1,125! How great would that be!
9:30 This is your highest offer in the entire game! It is a guarantee if you say 'Deal' - if not, you open one more case. The question is, will the offers continue to climb? Or will this offer be the highest in the entire game? If that one case you open is $112.5 million, the next offer goes down significantly. But you have a 2/3 chance of opening anything else such that the $112.5 million stays in play. If you leave the $112.5 million in, the next offer goes up. What do you do?
13:00 worst case scenario, you knocked out the highest amount. So the offer went down significantly. If you don't take the offer, you have a 4-out-of-5 chance of opening anything but the huge money. What do you do?
12:00 you took the risk and it paid off! Both huge amounts remain. You have a 1/3 chance of winning at least $750,000 and a 1/6 chance of winning $2 million. If you don't take this offer, you only need to open one case. You can't knock both huge amounts out in the same round.
