I have a border collie. I'm here to prove dog germs won't kill ya. And neither will dog hair. . But Bridger is part of our family and smart. And we are headed to our Maine cabin. On August 10. God bless😊😊
I had my Bernese for 10 years. She died just a few days after her 10th Birthday. Highly intelligent, great family dog, protective over me and she had a vast vocabulary! I felt like I Iost my roommate not my dog! She would talk to me throughout the day and answer yes/no questions. She was easy to train! No problems with chewing. She loved her stuff animals. She would chew on them, but Never tear them up! She did have a paper/cardboard fetish though.
I own a version of a Swiss Mountain Dog named Molly who has my fur child. The shedding is very true because she ruined my carpet in my house and replaced it with flooring, but the joy of owning her cannot be described. Molly helped with me with her presence through my mom and my dad passing.
I don't know which one is more beautiful, that beautifull ball of fur or this gorgeous blue-eyed girl. I love bernese dogs, I had a golden retriever, and I thin they have very similar characters.
My Bernese doesn't need carts to pull around. She has me! I would not recommend this breed to old or frail people, especially when they are adolescent, as you WILL be pulled over by them on the lead, or sometimes they decide to go between your legs/get in your path and trip you over.
I watch an Australian shepherd dog, It's the exact same personality. It's the really annoying puppy dog love. ALL THE TIME. Being away from their favorite human is pure torture for these dogs.
Do not pay any attention to these ignorant people, they obviously don't know anything about Berners OR DOGS period. My Luca loves babies, kids, adults, cats, squirrels....they are gentle giants by nature. Love Benny! and you guys are great parents of baby and Benny!
They aren't for me because of 2 things: 1. the derp, they just have a derpy energy. 2. at the national Bernese Mountain Dog competition in my state, each and every BMD failed obedience, not one passed.
Ça me rappelle notre chienne boubou à la naissance du fiston. Elle l'attendait peut-être bien autant que nous. Et en a pris soin dès son arrivée en se collant à lui dès son arrivée. Enceinte du fiston, elle posait déjà sa tête délicatement sur mon ventre ❤.
