It's been a while, I think I just got the 1st Season Pass. I wouldn't recommend getting this, because there's a new RotTK coming out soon, a remake of an older game, but with extra features.

Re: Neidhart, there's a semi-popular fan theory that the Neidhart you joins you is actually his double, based on that cutscene and the way the player version hides his face. If so it would probably be a call back to Romancing SaGa 3 where if you play as Mikhail he has a double act in his stead while you're out and about adventuring.
I didn't get to visit Pulchra in my Diva run and my Ameya isn't that strong. I guess I had the "hard mode" 😂 Delores and Boudica were my MVPs. I ended up winning on a Delores showtime after she survived Emerald Union and her fire resistance let her survive that flame sword move.
so collecting too many cats end the run early. going to be honest, i feel conflicted over this. the game set up gathering cats because they have your power and then punish you for doing so. i guess when i do get the game, i should probbobly hold off on getting too many cats.
I dig the dismal king storyline quite a bit, not only does it give some context for some of the events in the worlds, it also gives the charecters more depth that surprising in a saga game.
I felt the same way, the added context for certain worlds like the Crowrealm made them more interesting in retrospective compared to how I felt about them before first playing through those worlds. I need to make sure to actually see the past of characters like Lifetaker next time instead of accidentally locking myself into the Tsunanori queset.

Your assigning the Conquer function on all of your units in the first round, which is the dumbest thing you can do. It simply unlocks the "waste your time" function
This mission is a tough one. You only get 40 days to win before reconstruction of the Caulder Missile is completed, so you have to hurry. Greyfield has a lot of battle ships and cruisers. You need to take those out ASAP. Build lots of Rigs for temporary ports so you can quickly patch up your ships as you produce them. Once his fleet is gone, move in to his HQ and storm it. That’s your best bet of winning.
I didn’t get lucky fighting Saphibe in the desert and couldn’t figure out why she kept dodging me and healing. Eventually I got her and don’t even know how. The guides I could find didn’t help much at all with how they part works.
Damn, i didn't know there were different endings, mine i travelled with Yao Ji, Xue and Xiaotong, not sure how, because i felt i've missed quite a few content with them, but thanks for the video!

Do you need to play the first Tear Ring Saga to know what's going on in the this PS2 game? I'm curious about playing this game, but I haven't tried either.
You don't, apparently this game takes a VERY long time after TRS according to the Fire Emblem Fandom Wiki "Berwick Saga takes place on the continent of Lazberia in the same world as Lieberia from TearRing Saga: Utna Heroes Saga, but roughly a millennium after the events of that game." So the events of TRS, while technically important aren't actually relevant with it being so far removed and pretty much every character from that game likely having died WAY before the events of the game, considering that people don't live 1,000 years.
For xiaotang ending you need Xue to be below her in affection so you can give her back wooden sword which you can get quiet early by going back to the house from starting location. For Xue you fail to gain 20 affection if you dont do all activities during lantern festival or if when you were visiting and she was sick you decided not to go look for the record when maid tells you to I failed Xue ending because I called her performance not depresing but something else.... "harem" ending you get by having Xue and Jao have same amount of affection at the end.
