Harkrncycles makes legit looking antique bikes . affordable. You just do the electric work. They are largely unknown and if got exposure would conquer this niche market. Look up harken cycles
Anyone else got the Kiox display. My rail has a 625WH battery. First two full charges to 100% the eco range said 121km now on its third full charge is only say 64km which is half. Im wondering if it will adjust when go out tomorrow as the bike hasn't moved since popping the battery back in.
The head badge appears to be a light. Also if you look closely you will notice the rear has through axles. On the ends of the rear chainstays it also appears to have lights. IF this is the case it is a seamless design.
My vote goes for Ariel Rider . I've got a D-Class that I have literally been beating the hell out of since I got it. Trying to make it break while it is till under full warranty. So far unsuccessful but I have another 7 months left :D :D
I own a D-Class too. Definitely the best in the list. Ruff looks like a nice bike too as it is smaller in size maybe better fit for me (don't like only pedal assist mode)
The bike was designed as an electric motorbike but they then decided to add pedals just to make it legal as an electric cycle in most parts of the world - In Europe for example, if the pedals do not make the back wheel move then the bike would not be legal. The whole concept behind the bike in the early days was to have a very minimalist look. They didn't want to add extra production costs & clutter the minimalist look of the bike with gears - it never even had fenders! We believe it would now make sense for them to at least add gears as an option because a lot of people are asking for this feature - we get asked about our gears by other people on a regular basis. We have retro fitted 7 speed gears to our Super73 bike - we did this because with 3 batteries fitted and over 80 miles range we wanted a way to get the bike back to base should the electrics fail - If you are interested then we have close-up pictures of our gears on our twitter & instagram accounts. (We are not an official UK dealer)
Super 73 is overhyped and overpriced. Pretty bad quality and seems like the owners don't care much about improvements. Also fenders and long seat are sold out for a year now
