Welcome beauty, I’m Kaylan and I specialize in custom eyelash and eyebrow services. ✨This channel is dedicated to educating fellow artists and clients about these services, I hope you find this content helpful and enjoyable. 🫶🏽
Thank you for your comment! I use hand made fans on all of my sets, it’s a little difficult to fully explain without demonstrating so I’ll be posting a more detailed video on fanning soon! 🖤
Thank you for the question! I use a hydrogel patch with sensitive tape (any kind of silicone gel tape is the same) for those allergic to silicone I use nichiban medical tape. (make sure to detak the tape on the eye pad before you put it on the lashes, it’s a strong tape) I hope this helps! 🫶🏽
These tweezers are from GlamGirl they were extremely affordable and amazing quality but mine are very old lol. (I need to order more so please don’t buy them all 😭) They’re my favorite and basically the only ones I use for nearly every set. I hope this helps! 🖤
Thank you for your comment! I only use hand made fans for my sets. I’ve tried using pre mades before but found they don’t give as good retention as hand made fans. Hand made fans also allow you to truly customize a set, it’s what works for me but pre mades can work for other artists. I always say, don’t knock it til you try it! I hope this helps. 🖤
Thank you for your comment! Every set and every natural lash line is different so timing varies, on average I take anywhere between 3-4 hours on a full set. I’m also a huge perfectionist and like to take my time because I value the health of the natural lashes, everyone is different and it’s okay to not be everyone’s lash artist! Go at your own speed and enjoy the lash journey, I hope this helps!
I like to use various brands to test my skills but some that I always go back to and are affordable while also being beginner friendly are Elan Beaute and T-dance! Use what works best for you, there’s no right or wrong. Thank you for your question beauty, I hope this helps! 🖤
I had fun watching your content, where do you usually get your lash supplies, do you use specific brand? I personally like LLBA Professional, I'm curious if you have tried the brand already.
Thank you Tanya! I’ve used various brands through out my years of experience to really learn about products and how they work. My current favorites are Livbay and London Lash. I’ve tried LLBA in the past and do like their products but have had better retention and ease of use in my studio specifically with the brands I mentioned above, everyone has different conditions for their studio meaning different brands/ products will work differently for everyone! If it works for you, your lash room, and your retention, don’t fix something that isn’t broken! Hope this helps.🖤
Thank you for the video! Can you show us how your prep the lash extension with the bonder for the wet look, also when you pick them up do you pinch at all? Or just pick them up and dip in glue?
An in depth wet set/ spike video will be posted very soon! I’ll show different methods to use for spikes, I’ve personally used both of the ones that you mentioned and love them. 🖤
The top lashes get the longer lengths so they really pop in the set, the shorter lengths go on the bottom layers. Spikes were used throughout the entire set to give it the “wet look” when they are brushed out they look like “narrow” fans giving the set a fluffier look. I hope this helps! 🖤
All my sets are custom so it will always depend on the lash line I’m working with but this client took me 2 and half hours of actual lashing time. Never stress about time, take as long as you need to make sure those extensions are applied properly, it’s worth it to achieve the results you and your client want! The adhesive I used for this set and my personal favorite, is “Magnetic Vibe” from LivBay supplies! I hope this helps. 🫶🏽
Can you tell me which glue and which eyelashes you use? I also do eyelash soldering but all the time at the end of the soldering the eyelashes are always hard, you have same top for me?
Both lashes and brows are from KJ Beauty Studio! The service provided in this video was a brow sculpt, including brow mapping, brow tint, and clean up! Before and afters are our favorite. 🤩
What cream remover are you using? Most of my clients are sensitive with removers so I recently switched to 5-min sensitive cream remover from LLBA Professional, it's gentle and has no strong smell.
For this removal I used LivBay’s gel remover which is perfect for any type of bond and removal process and has no smell. It’s very fast acting and you only need a little bit to get any lash extensions off, I’ve used it for nearly a year now and never had any issues with sensitive and non sensitive clients. I hope this helps!
An eyelash extension service should never hurt, every single natural eyelash is isolated with tweezers and an extension is applied to each individual lash. When finding an artist make sure they are a reputable professional and check out their reviews! I hope this helps beauty! 🖤
