You need to look closer. Most of the dudes are in the rows at the back. But yes, there are more girls than boys. That’s because this is the Music/Dance/Drama department of Rud senior high school, where at the dance part are normally only girls. Otherwise it’s about 50/50.
Of course I could, if I planned it. Several skilled guitarists amongst my music/dance/drama pupils here. But this was a 100% spontanious sing-along, as it says in the description (I advice you to bother to read before you make a negative comment). Not planned, not rehearsed. Best, the teacher/pianist.
What do you mean? This is first day of the school year, and they have no idea that they are gonna sing this song. Of course they should show up at school regardless of whether they are familiar with this song or not. Grow up, be positive. It will make you, and all people around you, good. Best, the teacher/pianist in the video.
I am so glad the music teacher had as much fun as the students (and maybe more!), because he will be able to instill in them a love of all kinds of music. I grew up hearing everything from big bands, to jazz and blues, the classicals, and rock and roll, and lots of stage and screen songs. Well done, sir! And lucky students, to be able to attend a school with such a great instructor.
What a great way to kick off a new school year! I will be 80 years old in July, 2024, and heard this song for the first time last year, when my community choir sang it at our Spring concert. (I had a classical background, and didn’t listen to much modern music.). But I went on RU-vid to find out more about Queen and Freddie Mercury, and found the songs he had co-written for the best opera soprano of her time, Montserrat Caballé, in the album, BARCELONA.
