I’ve just done one of these and what a nightmare working from the manual, I’ve completed it and all is fine until I close the doors! There is a gap at the bottom, if I hold them closed all is fine, and I guess if a padlock is in place all is ok, depending on the type of padlock, any suggestions?
anyone else had issues with the back and side wall panels? Each panel has like a flat edge and a cornered edge so the one can overlap the other and prevent water coming in. There is no other way to mount them on the base frame bc of the predrilled holes. So now the back side has flat edges on both back panels, and the side panels both have cornered edges. For the side panels it doesnt matter but for the back you now have to connect 2 panels on that flat edge and thus water can come in. its just stupid!
Thanks for the tutorial, much better than the silent one with the canned folk music. I like the way you used the needle noses to hold the nut. If only someone would invent a tool specifically for that purpose...... A sort of screwdriver for nuts or "nut-driver" (for lack of a better word) 😅
For me, the ideas in ru-vid.comUgkxAfqpMLyFn37qcqUl0FAzqkkycQeXqrhP Plans were a starting point for building different sheds . Ryan gives ideas that allow an individual to draw nicest conclusions into the design and building of his or her own shed.
Is the slightly raised OSB boards sufficient to prevent condensation inside the shed due to the concrete underneath being wet, presumably not having a Damp Proof Membrane underneath? Also worth pointing out that the base should be sealed along the bottom (before fixing to the concrete) to prevent water seeping in at the bottom
I will advised you please don’t do it you will be disappointed ☹️ if you can return it do it as fast as you can this product is nothing but garbage 🗑 I’m very handy when it comes to problems like this shed main problem should be done with one person no two but the engineers never thought about this little issue so the rest of problems are due to lock of imagination
You guys are the only ones who visually show each step clearly! With the other videos, the parts are suddenly & magically there without seeing how it got there, lol! Anyway, Thank You🌹!!!
This is a Lego for adults. £265 price of this paper metal shed on Wayfair but please don't buy this horrible metal box. This shed should come with a little guy for installation. 2 people job and 6 hours of hard labour ... not joking, next time when someone calls me to install this type of shed I will charge X2 the price of the shed. 1000 screws and the holes are not aligned properly.
Thanks for the video it helped me a lot because the instructions in the carton or not clear. The problem is the product I think they could do it much simple and they should for example assemble the door already in the factory. The edges are very sharp and you cannot have the gloves always because you don’t feel the little pieces ( screws and other little parts) in your hands and with your fingers. If I knew I would buy the same thing but in wood maybe or another ecological material because it this product is using very poor materials and too difficult to assemble.
I've just ordered a metal shed (Different Model) as the one I got also has a metal bottom fram like this one, is it ok to put wood on top When it's just on a concrete base like in the video? That's what I'm planning to do. Any advice will be great thanks.
Hello, thank you for your comment. As long as the concrete base is flat and level, you would be able to put a wooden base on the concrete. We would recommend that the wood is on bearers to elevate the base slightly and allow airflow underneath to prevent issues with rot or mould in the wood. We hope this helps - N
