@@tst09 dude, I’m not going to have a massive argument about this with you, but the basic point is that you are not meant to bath the bearing is these solvents, just give them a light spray and then wipe down. I have been a bike mechanic for 28 years, worked for various World Cup MTB teams including Fox Shox, I’ve used good quality brake clear for so many things, and it works. You can have your opinion, but I know what works. If you don’t want to do things this way, then don’t. You are allowed to do what you want, but stop being a keyboard warrior and just go ride your bike. ✌🏼
@@RideBikesBeHappy
How crazy did the flipping camera go?! I don’t know if you noticed it crop in after a moment. I used the build in LumaFusion stabilisation, and it worked okay.
Great video. Question: I think you mentioned racing on a Hei Hei. Did you ever lock out for the climbs & smooth flat sections? Also I’m concerned about the geo. My current size Small All Mountain bike has 9mm higher stack & 14mm shorter reach so I feel like I might be in attack position more with the Hei Hei. I’m looking for a bike a I can do marathon XC races on but still enjoy it in my free time. Thanks
Hey Paul. I only ever lock out the rear shock, on paved roads, or super long climbs. Can’t compare geo to be honest, but the bike climbs like a goat and descends like a beast.
@@RideBikesBeHappy No worries. At least you didn’t reply a year later like some have. LOL. Did you notice any heel strikes on the chain stays due to their flared out wide position? Thanks
Hey cool. No heel strikes at all actually one of the few bikes I don’t get heel rubs with. I wear US13 size shoes, so my heels is way far back. At to that the 180mm crank I put on the bike. It’s actually a really amazing bike. Little secret: I just signed a deal to work with PYGA Bikes, for the foreseeable future, but I’m still keeping my Hei Hei as my XC/Trail rig, because it’s just so good 🤷🏻♂️
Hi, I am from Canada and will be travelling to Europe later this year. I am landing in Italy and later heading to Austria. I would like to fly my drone in both countries. How would you advise I should go about this?
Hey, Italy is easy going. Any non-commercial drone flying is allowed. Austria is a though one. No license - no fly. You could apply for the license on line. Google Austria drone licence, choose English and do the test. It’s all pretty much like I spoke about in the video. Good luck.
Thanks for the great review! I am considering the 2022 CR model but I can only get an XL size. I am 183/184cm and 89cm inseam and relatively long arms . Probably L is the size but do you think I could be well fitted in an XL perhaps with a shorter stem? What is your saddle height from BB? Mine is 79,5cm Thanks for your help. Cheers
Hey, thank you for the cool feedback. I’m 188cm tall, with a 96cm inseam. So I’m running a 94cm pedal to seat. I think an XL should fit you well. The Hei Hei is so easy to flick around anyway and like you say, if you shorten the stem by 10mm you should fit nicely. Have fun. 🤙🏼
I just took my test here in Germany and passed the first time. I understand why they are doing this but I do think it is funny. It's like the gun laws in the US, the government puts in all these restrictions and really stupid paperwork etc and it's all directed at the law abiding gun owners. The same is true, in most cases, for drone pilots. The people who violate the laws will always violate the laws and no amount of regulation will change that.
Text behind subject! There are a few ways to do it in LumaFusion (Chroma Key, Luma Key, Light/Dark Blend Modes). Which method did you use? I saw a double video there.
I was trying to lay the video over the top, and using green blocks to cover up the BG, so only the rider was visible. But to much movement to keyframe a clean crop. Then I used the chroma key, to let the logo show threw. Maybe I should try something with the logo rather.
@@RideBikesBeHappy The issue with your video is that there isn’t enough color separation to mask using Chroma key and there isn’t enough contrast between the biker and the background to create a mask using Luma Key or Blend Modes. You can see some examples that I posted where those methods work. Anyway keyframing the mask in LumaFusion although doable, is absolutely painful.
Hey Craig, thanks for the question. Unfortunately not. The flat head driver and huge nut drivers from a chainsaw are not going to work. Small bicycle multi tool and a flat screwdriver should do the trick. Have fun.
Well, 500 odd views in 5 days. Thank all of you who have watched. Also thanks for the likes, and dislikes and for the comments, positive and negative, all good. So far I have been contacted over WhatsApp, Instagram, and even got a phone call from staff from the park and Erlebnisbocksberg, all will really aggressive comments. To be honest I hope that when the dust settles, they will take a serious look at the park, and start to listen to the riders. Thanks again people. Ride safe 🤙🏼
These guys have put more work and effort into building and maintaining than you did in 5 years, mate. Your review seems pretty salty. Just let go man, no need for retaliation. Also calling them "stupid" and "retarded" is pretty disrespectful. If there is area for improvement in your opinion, there are other ways to provide it. At first I thought about not interacting with this video at all to not provide any reach to it - however I think this has to be said. To be honest, I didn't think you'd be that kind of person. Pretty disappointed.
Dude, I don’t know who you are, but thank you for the feedback. I was torn about posting this video, but it’s how I feel about the whole thing. I guess it is time to just let it go, and move on. Stay rad and honest dude.
@dude sorry but there I'm 1000% on the side of ride bikes be happy! Doubles o ln a line that is the second step in a Bikepark is something that is more than stupid! In other parks big doubles on the DH had been filled up to tables, because of savety issus, and then on a A line there are do or die jumps? Be sure I will never go there... I don't want to be the person who has to do first aid on a beginner that crashed there!
