I know you're a real-life crime documentary enthusiast. The offer to watch the latest documentary video is still valid. Your thoughts are important to me.
Hey Stan really like your Toung zmufflers. Really turned cold it's winter. Made all my repairs brought one out of retirement. And changed all my fuel tanks to 2.5 ounce. My Artheritus demanded it. Also went to 53 foot lines on my BiSlob. Happy Year to you Stan and your Bride.AJ
Тебе учиться, учиться и учиться, как завещал великий Ленин... Во времена СССР... С таким пилотажем ... Пионера не допустили бы к соревнованиям... У тя пилотаж на уровне десятилетнего подростка из СССР.
Hey Stan I've been their. Hard to tell but it looked like she came in on ya. Their for a while every time I flew I Crashed. But was able to repair the damage. Discovered it was moving my handle and lines from plane to plane was causing this. Hey Merry Christmas. I am hoping for a better New Year in 24.
Absolutely!!! I have 30,000 hours flying real airplanes where we always took off into the wind. But with a C/L plane, you took off down wind to keep the lines tight until that rudder cocked to the right took effect. Well said. I will always believe my 57 year plus flying career, including 29 years as a pilot for United Airlines, began in March of 1962 as a 12 year old, I flew a full tank of fuel on my Baby Ringmaster without crashing. I have NEVER had an interests in flying RC. With a control line model, I could actually feel my plane stall throught the lines.
Ya I hear ya happened to me and once was enough, fuel line held it for a second hit the leading edge right wing and took off. Where did it go. Meaning the engine. Still bent the tank still got that just as a reminder! Check them bolts, and blind nuts. Started using blue thread locker. My Super Ringmaster is coming along cut my thumb took six stitches, man I hate needles!AJ
I thought about it but i need mini servos I think the weight with 2 would be to much But I do have several rc engine to pick from I want one with flaps throttle and up down lol
Hey Stan that’s my kinda flight. Got the muffler, Toung. For my Fox Stunt 35. Sure like it, and nice talking to ya today. I will need another maybe three. Retired so I have a finance to deal with. With my properity tax coming up in January. Thanks again in my building season. Started a Super Ringmaster.AJ.
@@StansWorld rtp flying. Heard about it, never tried it. I used a right angle attachment and boring head, laid block on side on the table and used X to feed.
@@scottjohnson7466 yea that can be done but a lathe is more Rigid for boring a long rotating bar will tend to swing so to speak and you will have chatter and taper more likely But good luck.
a couple of pointers if you would like to do this again: 1. mount the camera to something solid, no hand-held 2. use day-light, your light source flickers badly 3. if you have to use that light, use a deflicker filter in your edit software to remove the seizure-inducing flicker 4. fixed focus, turn off auto-focus. out-of-focus footage is useless to watch.
G'day Stan, Thanks for the Tounge Mufflers, they work a treat ! Over the years, ive found the "Scissor style" knurle tool have always worked the best for me too. Nice to see you run Low RPM, most ppl go way too fast , & fuck it up 🤣 Keep the Videos coming 👍 Cheers mate Mark O'Reilly (Aus)
When You start to remove material from those bores, the change in harmonics will distort the alignment. A much better way to do this, is to line bore the cylinder. Fix the cylinder top surface to an angle plate - then fix the angle plate to the saddle, and rotate the cutter in a boring bar between centers - instead of rotating the whole cylinder.
That’s a cool little bike. If you bought it for a project new seat cover and tires and you’ll be done I’d get it tagged and street legal again and for $300 you stole it. I’d say it’s worth 10x that
Did you make the fixture to bolt the cylinder to? Any videos on that part? I have 2 cylinders identical to what you bored out . I just bought a lathe and thinking I'm going to give it a go. If I mess up I will order a new sleeve and give it a go again. Excellent video and top notch work 😀
Yea i made the ring transfered the holes from the cyl bored a thru hole for the cly to line up use a 3 jaw adjustable or 4 jaw will work great also bolted it right to it a sleeve is great but usually still gotta bore them lol Its not hard
I would have used a 45 degree spot drill instead of a 60 degree center drill. Set the spot drill to plunge .130 and the tap leadin is made in the same step.
Sad to see that happen. The first time my father let me fly his beloved "Twister", I began a wing-over and the engine separated from the fuselage. I was horrified - my Dad loved that plane. Turned out, the plywood was fuel soaked from years of flying and was destined to fail. Found a NIB Twister last year at a Swap Meet. I plan to build and paint it in the same scheme as his. Might go electric this time. ;)
I have also put the Tapered Pin style needle valve in both my fox 35 did away with the 2 flat design im hoping Tmr will be better got fuel and castrol oil Im good now
I found out when i landed the Twister it had one Bolt left to hold motor on Haha I remember it didnt sit quite right because it was built for a fox 35 the 4 bolt back plate kept it up a bit i didnt wanna mod plane for 1 time use. Guess That had alot to do with performance a loose motor lol... Just my luck.
