There is a moment during the first episode of a tv series, where you just KNOW it's going to be a good series. Eloise screaming "Daphnayyy!! You MUST make haste!" was the moment I knew Bridgerton was going to be iconic.
The ladies of this show absolutely make this worth watching. Violet, Eloise, Portia, Philippa, Prudence, Penelope, Madame Delacroix, the Queen and the other queen, Lady Danbury have the BEST lines and give the best performances. I'd have to say Lady Danbury is probably my favorite of the ladies (she WILL cut you!), followed by Portia Featherington and then Eloise.
He's literally the only good thing about this show. The only actor worth calling that. He's clearly over qualitied. I hope it opens even more doors for him.

Saw interviews of Claudia Jessie she is the perfect Eloise, so similar to her character a real comedian, her and Nicola Coughlan perfect friendship just as their characters. Would love to see them in a comedy. Petfect casting. Seen her in Vanity Fair indeed very good actress.
This movie was banned where I live because of the trans flag that’s on the edge of the frame during the scene with Gwen and her dad outside her room. Like I only saw it because I was looking for it when I finally found a way to watch it. God this movie is so good, such a bummer I can’t rewatch it easily :(
