im also a red head and i get burnt so easily💀i recently had such bad sun burn i was bed ridden dor 2 days. not fun definitely getting skin cancer when im older
Not a redhead but I'm of British, Irish and Scottish descent and I come from a long family history of skin cancer. These appointments get a lot easier the more you do, but it is completely understandable to be scared! I still get scared of the needles even though I've had this done at least 10 times. But this type of preventative care is essential for those of us with pale skin.
Dude. As someone with AUBURN hair like an Irish setter AND partially olive skin/neutral/with pink tones (thanks dad) I’m finally embracing the ginger make up I always needed, but since I’m like a flame version of Anne Hathaway the girls at ulta always gave me cool dark brown- but they never looked right. I’ve been using plum fashion color mascara for years but it’s not waterproof and never looks “natural”
I had a similar one on my nose, I was 12 at the time. I went into surgery and got it removed. The test came back as negative(it wasn't cancer). 2 years later and The scar is barely visible.
It's funny to me how in some countries you hide your body even from the doctor. Here we go to the derm with panties on. The doc checks everything and lifts the panties with their hand to see if there's anything of notice. And the gynecologist checks for anything down there whenever there is a gyn visit. And when the gyn sees anything out of the ordinary, they send you to the derm to have it checked out. But good call, my derm visit is soon and I'm always anxious about the results. I'm super pale and never go outside, basically, but i have many moles and things everywhere.
I bet he gives the best cuddles :) Is he a Norwegian Forest Cat or a Maine Coon? My husband's family has a Norwegian Forest Cat, and he's a similar size.
I read that spf under 20 does nothing. Or it does the same as any cream without spf. So spf12 ... I don't know what those wipes were intended for, but other than refresh, I doubt they could anything.
Hypothesis confirmed, didn’t even know sunscreen wipes existed before this but I’m really not surprised they’re useless. They’re also SPF 12 so even if they did get sunscreen on your face they’re useless, what the hell is SPF 12 meant to do? Decrease the colour of the inevitable sunburn you’ll get from flesh crimson to lobster? Why do people make them, I get wipes are meant to be more convenient but it’s no where close to how much sunscreen you actually need. Glad you check this stuff though, this seems like a rly good way to check coverage
The wipes probably just aren’t broad spectrum enough and don’t cover the specific uv wavelength range that the camera can see in. I’d definitely not use them anyway because spf 12 but still, this is prolly why they don’t show up on the camera.
@@gils100gamesblack light is violet and ultraviolet light so yes you’re correct that freckles show up like that under black light too. The reason is like the other commenter said. The melanin in the freckles reflects more uv than the surrounding skin so the freckles appear darker on the uv camera and under a black light.
I've been going every year for the last like 5 years, it's not scary for anyone wondering! It takes longer to sit in the waiting room than to do the check.
I've never applied sunscreen and I'll definitely need to start having the habit to do it now. I'm going to struggle finishing the product tho cause I bought trader joes sunscreen brand, and only a little bit of it will last me a while. I got another when I was in the Philippines, and I didn't realize till I came back to CA and did a translation to see it's only for the face. So hopefully maybe I can apply it to my body instead
Huh, learning something new each day in that mascara should match the persons hair colour and it makes sense. I have black hair as a East Asian woman so a black mascara works just fine for me when I chose to wear a mascara, but it’s so amazing to see an auburn coloured mascara for redhead people out there 🥰
Hi Kate !!! It is waterproof as long as it’s left alone and not rubbed either I’ve worn it before and have sweated and doesn’t move as long as i dont touch my brows. It’s not transfer proof just waterproof.
