am i the only one who's disappointed by all the laughs at Anthony Bourdain's death? maybe i missed a joke but i don't see his suicide is funny considering Dave didn't even reach a punchline
That's because it was a commentary used to set up the intended joke. It was actually brilliant, being it threw you off. Because you thought there was no punchline, but you didn't realize that there was never a punchline intended for his commentary about Bourdain. He meant it as a commentary. He then proceeded to deliver the joke off of the setup. He then explained what his purpose was with the setup commentary. So yes... you missed it.
@@zebwhite6372I think the op knew the setup, it’s just that the op was disappointed when people laughed when Dave Chappelle said Anthony Bourdain killed himself while filming Parts Unknown and the audience interpreted as a joke on its own so they laughed.
