A big part of the gameplay is the exploits and tricks in each game. Shotgun cancel and dt distortion are integral to 3 and 4 even tho it wasn’t meant to be, and the devs have never tried to fix those things with new releases or patch updates. Even dmc1 is still fun with things like speedrunning strats. Despite some terrible enemies or rushed portions, it is triumphed by how fun players can make the game. And dmc5 is just the closest to perfection. One last thing is bloody palace or trying to get platinum trophy. Massive more play time right there
Hell yeah. If not for the exploits in DMC4, I don’t think people would still be playing it. The tech (even the unintentional ones) are so much fun to do and watch, and especially watching other people use those systems to the fullest, even if it means breaking their hands to do them lmao. And yeah, DMC5’s combat is perfection. I’m not sure how they could top that with DMC6 or any remake of the games, but if we know anything about DMC, is that with each entry, comes more cool shit to do.
Thanks! And I just watched a few videos of yours and my best advice would be to implement some level of jump cancelling in your combos. You seem like a pro at switching weapons mid combo and juggling your enemy, but I do recommend doing some jump cancel. They’ll make your combos look a bit stylishly IMO. You can search up tutorials on RU-vid if you wish.

At the end , you will beat m20.... But at the price of your sanity.. Anywho you used dte for both m18 and m19 nice(you utilized it alot in m18 which is hella good)
I’m gonna have a lot of fun fighting Vergil /s. But yeah, the dte helped a lot, especially since these bosses felt a lot easier to deal with than when I first fought them.
