A phenomenal song from a criminally ignored album that was the Cardigans' equivalent of The Beatles' White Album. I only reason I can think of for it not being absolutely massive is the bewilderingly poor choice of band/album name. Nobody knew how you were supposed to pronounce it, so ignored it instead. I settled for A-Camp (rather like H-Block) instead of 'a noun'. Ranging from the epic, psychedelic masterpiece of The Oddness of the Lord, to the delicate and fractured Elephant, 'I caught you smiling, with pointed teeth', this sits in between them as a classic of such stature that you think it must surely be a cover version of a song written for one of the global megastars. But it isn't - it's purely the work of Niclas and Nina. If only they'd called themselves The Exploding Terrapins they'd have been massive.
WOW THIS SONG IS REALLY REALLY AWESOME. And Nina Persson has always been a really really really good songwriter and that is something that she's today also, because she has NEVER written one bad song AT ALL in her REALLY REALLY REALLY SUCCESSFUL music career. But the lyrics that Nina has written for this song is one of the best lyrics that she has EVER written in my opinion, because the lyrics on this song is absolutely amazing. And they're so well written. And this song and The Oddness of the Lord is my absolute favorite songs from the 2001 album by A Camp but the whole A Camp album from 2001 is actually a really really really great album, because all the songs on this album is really really beautiful and awesome like this song. And this is NOT a Cardigans song, this is a A Camp song that has nothing to do with The Cardigans at all. Just like the rest of the songs on this album from A Camp and their 2'nd album Colonia, because A Camp is Nina Persson from The Cardigans.
have you heard the three new a camp songs?? there here on youtube (live) -i signed the line -here are many wild animals -my personal favourite : chinatown none are confirmed to be a single though (for all i know they could be covers of song) but there awesome
