The connection was 1h35 and it was OK. But that depends if your first flight arrives on time. Our arrived a bit ahead of schedule, as far as I remember.
@@nocommenttravel9145 oof yeah flights right now are showing connection time as 1hr15mins. These flights would've been ideal if it wasn't for the short connection
@@inspajamas2480 Sounds a bit short. If you're going from Dublin check if British Airways fly there. We were flying with them to Cancun from Dublin before.
@@nocommenttravel9145 yeah that was the other option but I need to be there on a specific day/time and the flight comes in too late. Plus with Aer Lingus not flying to Gatwick anymore I'd need to either take Ryanair to Gatwick or BA to Heathrow and the change to Gatwick 😭
Great video you guys. Thanks so much for labeling things S ypu went along. Tha really helps. Please tell me this. I have knee issues and going up and down stairs is a problem wirh me. Does this resort have facilities in place (elevators, ramps, golf carts etc) to help me get everywhere I might want to go? (ie: from room to restaurants, beach, pool etc..) Thanks so much h, Steve S
Thank you, Steven. The grounds are mostly flat and accessible and if you request a room on the ground floor you don't have to use the stairs at all. Both standard villas and beach villas have rooms located at ground floor level so there is no elevators. As the grounds are quite big there is some walking though. There are covered paths, as you can see on the video, and as far as I remember there are no steps on the way, however if you want to take a shortcut from the villa to the restaurant or the main pool over the mangroved area, depending on the location of your villa, you will have to take the raised walking deck (3-5 steps up), also shown in the video. If you feel like walking is too much, there are regular shuttles to/from villas, beach and main reception area and then it's not a long walk down to the restaurants or to the beach. You can check with the resort's management if there is any buggies on request to assist you.
We stayed in double bed room, 2 adults. The rooms are not upgraded so I would call them basic although they are called premium. The more luxury version is Sentido Reef Oasis Senses Resort located together with Reef Oasis but further away from the beach.
Thank you. Yes, we enjoyed it a lot. It's not a resort so it's not big but it’s not that small either. It's an oceanfront hotel, probably the biggest in Puerto Morelos so far. If you want to stay in the PM town I would definitely recommend it.
Great video, did you enjoy your stay and would recommend it? We usually stay at a Bahia Principe property that’s a bit over an hour from the airport. How far away is this property? 🇨🇦
Thank you. The grounds and facilities are very nice. We enjoyed the beach and the beachside villa the most. Rooms are getting a bit worn-out but they are fine. We haven't stayed in Bahia Principe so we can’t compare. Probably BP is more luxurious, not sure. Grand Palladium Kantenah is 1.05 hr from Cancun Airport.
