If I ever have kids, I will tell them this was the only ford lightning. One of the greatest vehicles ford ever made and one of the greatest trucks of all time coming from a guy that is not a fan of ford at all
fellow 521 shee owner with shearer outframe pipes you reckon this microphone would make my bike sound better? by the looks of it cpi is loud enough to almost have the microphone not pick it up. what about outerframe pipes wouldn't it be too loud and over 100 decibels for the microphone to pick up
In most of the recent (last 3ish years), I think the go pro was and still is having audio issues. I originally had this mic and lost it. I bought one or two other mics which did not work all that great then I rebiught the Olympus. The sound used to be better. All the go pro footage in this channel is an old go pro hero 2. I would assume any new camera has car superior audio and an external mic would even be more superior. With that said, a cheap stereo mic should do the trick. You can get a small extension wire then hook it to the inside of your shirt behind you. That will block the wind noise. I have a video from two years ago where the bike is idling. I then unplug the external mic and it switches to onboad audio which is very muffler. That may give you an idea.
What mods are done to your transmission and do you have a lockout? Cause I am running a 421 Cub and with a pro mod and lockout and sometimes it doesn’t want to shift. Any ideas?
@@Monkeigh7 wicked racing makes a clutch than can handle 110hp with no lockup. If you ever decide to try that, please. Let me know how it is. If it wasn't so tedious to split cases, I'd of kept my override and swapped back and forth.
This was just to see if the bike will do 100. Surprisingly, it went slower. It went 92mph. I guess it doesn't have the power to pull 15/41 in 6th like it did 14/41 (94mph).
It did about 90 if I reved 5th out but I didn't stretch 6th gear. I found the load was more than I cared for in 6th. I also didn't like how much I had to rev each gear out, it just wasn't fun. I went down two sizes on the main and one tooth on the front from a 16t to a 15t a week ago. I should be going test it out next weekend if it ever stops raining.
I didn't dyno it but Cam at Redline did. I literally told him that I don't care what it makes on a dyno. I just wanted it to have a fun midrange and pull. Anyway, here's the graph redlineracing.biz/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/ragen-cajun-10-super-serval-798x400.jpg
@@SVTBansheeman Is that crank or wheel horsepower? And oh btw, is there still potential left to this engine to get more peak hp/torque while still using pump gas, I know that would kill the bottom end power tho. Just curious of potential of these super servals
It the cylinders are ported. I don't understand what you mean by how much was it ported. Either you mean the cost or how much material was taken out. Either I can't answer as I don't remember the price nor do I underatand port work.
@@SVTBansheeman Why the change from the manual? And do you still have the center console and able to get another manual. I know you know the right shop to change it back over.
I wanted it back automatic. You can buy parts to manual swap it back if you want. I'm not buying thousands worth of extra parts then hope you buy it. I do not have a center console. I do not know of a shop to manual swap it, I did it myself years ago.
Thing sounds terrible!! Repack those silencers!! Seriously youll gain 5hp outta freesh packing alone.. plus it will run a tad lean with packing all blown out
Curious if you noticed any power loss switching to csfx silencers vs the shearer ones. I've been running the csfx but thinking they are holding back some power.
They came in expeditions. If you are on some Facebook lightning parts groups, some come up for sale every now and then. Or you can to a junk yard and hope to find one. There's wide and narrow top versions. This is the wide. You will also need the brackets that bolt to the floor.
Gotta love it!!! Man I've been reading over on rodder.. gathering my parts now to do my swap in my 97.. going to go the route Tennesseeman did. Do you think k that's the better way to go with thw Magnum t56?
Scratch what i said. my drag race buddy said that won't help the shifting issue. will just either make clutch slip more out the hole if you take off weight or grab more by adding weight. He said big bore engines like 521 and higher turn rpms so high with force its harder for hand clutch trannys to shift
