Very helpful for me, a beginner. I could watch how you handled the fabric and how you combined use of the square and the cutting mat to work efficiently and accurately. Pacing was also good for me. Thank you.

You could put a ruler down and put a heavy weight on top of it to hold it in place while you straighten the rest of the material

I think you meant 60 cm, not 60 inch when you pick up the rotary cutter. But after that, I followed you easily. Thank You.

Perfect video. NO ONE ever shows dealing with a large amount of fabric and your tips were spot on. Just followed your tip on a 3 yard piece and it squared up perfectly. TY TY TY. I too wash, dry my fabrics firt because cotton shrinks! And I would never think of making an entire quilt without washing the fabrics first because the entire quilt is going to have to washed sooner or later! Again, thanks a million.

Thank you, Jean! I was so intimidated in knowing how to square up very large yardage until I found and watched this episode. I successfully squared my material and cut the sashes needed for my grandson's T-Shirt quilt. Thank you!

Thank you so much for showing how to square a large piece of fabric. I just got through making two pillow cases and was having that uneven lay of the fabric. I think this is what went wrong, not so square fabric. My technique was perfect but still I had to unpick twice. I did do a little cutting on the second unpick and it got better.

All the videos today on RU-vid are not this thorough I don't know why they're just throwing them out there and leaving us but your videos are more thorough and you're taking your time. I think the longer videos are better for me like yours where you're taking your time with us not just trying to hurry up and throw out another video thanks for all your time

I so needed this tutorial. Thank you. I buy fabric at a store that has $1 per yard fabric and it all gets washed prior so needless to say I have lots of fabric monsters. Each time I cut it's reinventing the wheel. This is perfect ❣️
