Hii! I wanted to make Webtoon as well, does anyone know how Acon 3D works? do I need high-end pc to work with those models, does it need the sketch up? I'm not sure about PC specs but here's mine: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core processor 16 GB ram rx580 8gb graphics card If that doesn't work I'll just draw my BG individually LMAOO (with The Sims 4 as reference) Oh btw thanks for sharing your process, it does inspire me to actually start my webtoon, it's been just a script for 2 years, and I'm afraid to start incase I get new ideas lmao
Hi! Acond 3d is a website where u can buy and download webtoon assets. There’s brushes, 3d models and sketch up files u can buy. Not all of the 3d models require sketchup tho, some u can directly import to csp, but usually those models u can find on the csp asset store. Im not too sure on the pc specs, hopefully someone else can answer for u, but sketchup is a pretty heavy program and even with my 16gb ram laptop it lags (tho only with the huge skp files) And i wish u best on ur webtoon journey! Starting is the hardest part, hope u can overcome it
I would recommend just outlining the general story first, with the chapters and all. U can also try drawing the first episode, but as a oneshot first to see how the story flows. Experiment with ur artstyle and coloring just to get a hang of it first
i like this method of doing hard edges before blurring. when i was starting out, i just airbrushed everything and the shape of the shadow was so undefined 😭
Reading all ur other comments, u should def weight the pros and cons first. There’s already so many cases of webtoon artists developing or worsening their health conditions. If u really want to make a webtoon, just set a balanced working schedule, just a few hours max before ur eyes hurt. But just know that most of the times, the reward to effort ratio is not equal
